Mr. Munoz appears to be a "slum landlord" who rents properties in Lebanon from another state. Curiosity question: Prior to renting the unit, did Mr. Munoz do a credit history, a reference check of other locations the tenant lived, etc.? I highly doubt it. This is why he gets such dysfunctional occupants for his rental units. He deserves what he gets. I have no sorry or pity for him.

Mostly all landlords are greedy and all they care about is the money. Usually they don't care when things need fixed or if their tenants have to go without....

Until you have been in the rental property game you have no right to comment about being a landlord.
Renters today will lie and have people to backup their lies so it makes it VERY hard to sort out the bad tenants from the good tenants.
In find it funny how people with no experience can be such experts when they have never been a rental property owner.

I do have ALOT of experience in the rental bussiness and I do agree it is more difficult today to sort out the good from the bad tenants in some cases but it still can be done and drastically reduce the likelyhood of getting such problem tenants.
There are many good, conciencious landlords in Lebanon city and county which we don't hear about and of course there are some bad ones too that we can't help but hear about.
A big problem we have now are investors from out of state and county or those who watch flipping shows and think who think they can buy cheap in Lebanon and rent high and have no responsibility for the property. The rental bussiness is NOT easy money and requires year of experienceinvolving repair, bussiness knowledge an dreading people. So if someone is thinking about buying in Lebanon and forgetting about the place then collecting the big win when your property increases in value ... THE JOKE IS ON YOU!!!! City properties have been on the decline for some time with no correlation to the national market tanking. Stay home and buy up your own depressed neighborhoods and sink them.....we don't want you here!
My hat goes off to the landlord who does a good job and deals with problems as they arise and not let them go until they are out of control and then wonders what happened.

There are ways to be sufficient in a property ownership. You have to be alittle bit smarter than the tenant and obviously these owners are not. They want dollars and don't care about the property. I am an investor in properties and do rent out, but I take the extra steps AND attention to try to make sure that my tenants are not pulling anything stupid. So far it has been successful. Look into who you rent to, do a back ground check and all that you can and you probably would not get the problems that you do.
