Before this goes all crazy with race stuff, I have some unbiased questions:

Does the other Venue hire off duty police officers to patrol the parking lot?(If so, maybe the 7 Venue should do this)

Were there any calls/complaints that would make the police respond to the other Venue?

Did you call the cops to report the tagging?

To me a teenage is a teenager-hormones with low impulse control!!! As a concerned parent, I want ALL VENUES that attract our teens to be safe.

I personally appreciate your insight into this area.

Geez, this is a new thing for you? Get used to it. Cops go where the bulk of the trouble usually starts and like it or not black kids are far more prone to be in a gang, carrying a weapon or dealing dope of some sort than white kids. It's all about the numbers. A party with 100 white kids will generally have more order and less violence than a party with 100 black kids. This is reality, not racism. Surely you already know how white kids act in public. You think they are all wimps and p u ssies cause they follow rules and such. But that's the very reason they are harrassed far less by the cops. So what you think is wimpy white behavior because they have manners and generally stay out of trouble is the very behavior that black kids lack. Oh sure I'll sound like a racist for saying this and I would not presume that ALL white kids are not troublemakers, I know a few of them actually who belong in jail. But black kids see jail as a badge of honor. Like it or not, your culture is catching up with you. Whine all you like, but till black kids start following rules and setting a better example, they will see the cops a LOT.
It's time to grow up and stop trying to game the system or you will see that even though nothing is actually happening, the cops will be up your arse anyway because of your reputation. Too many black kids like to quote the law, but few feel an obligation to obey it. Oh and as long as you go around thinking that making good grades is "acting white" and making fun of black kids who try to succeed, your culture will continue to decline. We are entering a new age and most of the old line racists are dead. Most of the rracism you hear out loud these days is coming from black Americans and it is directed at white Americans. Keep disrespecting white people just for being white and you are digging your own grave. So what college are you going to? An engineering school maybe? Think about it. It really is time to grow up.

I'm sure that the short period of time you were there didn't tell the entire story. Maybe if you had stayed longer, you would have seen cops. If in fact this is true. Seems to me you may be a racebater

Oh you'll LOVE Alabama State, it's a total Thug-U in the middle of a cesspool of a city. Montgomery sales taxes are 10% and the racism is alive and well on both sides of the fence. You think you see crap in Dville, just wait till you get to one of the meanest cities in the South! Oh and congrats on being one of very rare black kids who doesn't know a single drug dealer or gang member. And you are right about fighting because black kids don't fight unless it's several against 1 or as long as the kid they are tormenting is much smaller. This has been true since the 60s. Like it or not black kids have zero honor when it comes to dealing with conflicts. Most white kids avoid you because they know that ANY problems will have you and all of your friends and all of your cousins lying in wait to ambush them over and over. Also, an athletic scholarship isn't worth crap if you don't learn a REAL skill at the same time. And that will be made easier when you learn the difference between waist and waste. So again, congrats on being a statistical fluke, but you KNOW how many social parasites we have among black people in this county, most are proud of being problems for the rest of us.

Black people are about 700% more likely to be murderers than whites and black people are about 700% more likely to be murdered, you can look it up anywhere that you want, it is as simple as there are about the same number of white and black murders every year, there are about 7 times more white people than black, drug dealing and using is about the same rate between whites and blacks but a black is about 1000% more likely to go to jail for a drug crime that is just racism , it is no right but a fact that you have to learn to live with , the drug crimes that your white friends will get away with will put a black in jail

How are you judging me and you dont know me? none of my friends cause trouble actually none of the people i know cause trouble, most of the violence in my school is white on white or white on black but RARELY do you see the black kids fight. The biggest drug dealer in my school is a white kid. I cant tell you last time I was at a party and there was a fight and I go 2 parties almost every weekend. Jail as a badge of honor? are you stupid what black teenager have you talked to that has said that? my guess is not a single one. But honestly there really is no point in waisting my time because no matter what I say you are going to view me as just another black kid who is crying racism you probably assume im a drug dealer with no legitimate future and with plans to live off of the government. Lol I saw what I saw and you can come up with excuses, percentages and stereotypes all you want but right is right and what happend Saturday wasn't right. And a race bater? give me a break why would I waist my time just to here the same arguments from you guys. I just wanted to inform you what I see on a daily basis. And what college am I going to? I have been blessed enough to receive a full athletic scholarship to Alabama state university. And before you say anything about academics I also sport a 3.1 GPA
If this is the way you truly see things and you do not have knowlege of gangs or drugs, VERY good for you and keep up the good work! One thing you will definetly have to change is going to either of the places you speek of. You have made it this far and if you continue to associate yourself with either you will find yourself in a position you never dreamed exsited. Go to school, get your dream job and keep the same attitude you currently have but know there are things out there that will drag you down faster then a sinking ship.

Lets think about this. A teenager on topix talking about racism...... sounds like an adult race baiter to me, JQ?? Anyway the black club hires off duty cops to work there, not because they just want to pick on poor little black kids, I asked one and was told they are hired off duty. So really you should be mad at your club because they hired them...whatever

I can see a club hiring a cop to keep the peace, but what were the other three doing? Is that club so wild that 4 cops are required?

As some of you may or may not know the 7 venue on fairburn road occasionally has bands come and play rock concerts there. Another venue on fairburn road often throws parties that more African American youths show up too. Coincidently these two venues had events Saturday night at the same time. I was on my way to the party on fairburn road and decided to stop at checkers which is in the same complex as the 7 venue. There were at least 150 Caucasian teenagers outside of the venue in the parking lot some were drinking some were smoking and some were just chilling, me and my friends took notice of this and decided to ride around the parking lot to see if there were any police. None at the front door patting them down, none patrolling the parking lot, none telling the teenagers who were outside to go home it was actually quite mind blowing. Me and my friends left to go to the party and upon pulling in the other venues parking lot we saw 2 police cars sitting right next to the building we got out and were patted down at the door granted we are used to this because it happens every weekend. me and my friends decided to leave the party early and when we walked back out the parking lot was empty..........beside the 4 police cars. After seeing this me and my friends decided to ride back down to the 7 because this couldnt be how it looked. upon entering the 7 venues parking lot we realized that the crowd of teenagers in the parking lot had grown significantly and to our amusement the CVS was actually being spray painted by a few of these kids lol, still not a single police officer or car in sight. So may I ask why is it that the douglasville police feel the need 2 make they're presence known at a party where there were maybe 100 african american kids but not at a concert with 300 Caucasian kids? drinking, smoking, and tagging buildings. we were in a controlled enviorment just trying to have a good time and they were loitering and causing mischief. I just dont understand and am honestly hurt by this.
Concerned teen,

if you really are a concerned teen, you are already more mature than 90 % of the people who post on this board.
Don't take the responses personally.
Don't fall for the race, sex, or whatever baiting! These are sad little people who wait all day to interject what they think is a witty comeback to a comment and to pick a fight. Yes, they are so desperate they seek negative attention.
When no one posts, they make up their own posts complaining about people, places and whatever things they think attributed to them being who they are today.

I wish they knew it was never to late to make a change!

I have heard that it is at the owners request that the police be present...I also heard that he himself is a retired or a former law enforcement officer. By the way I work at your school and why don't you go to the SRO and report what you know about frugs etc... PLEASE help clean it up instead of turning your head the other way. And please don;t say you don' want to be a snitch I get so tired of hearing that. There are ways to let an adult know with out being identified! YOu sound like a smart kid I hope you make the righ t decision.

Get used to the snitch thing. It's a weird kind of "Honor" among the most worthless of our society. Anyone who doesn't report a crime for fear of being labeled as a snitch is clearly too stupid to make an anonymous call.

So if a child molester is hurting kids across the street, are you saying to keep from being a low life you would not "snitch". Just asking.

People like you raise their kids to be scared to speak up if they see something illegal going on. This makes me sick if my daughter, mother or anyother female was the victim of a sexual assualt I'd hope one of these "lowest forms of life" as you called them would have enoguh since to open their mouth even if it is with their idenity being withheld.

I can see where "Ms.Teacher- Johnny touched me or looked at me, would get on the 1st grade teachers nerves, but use some common sense here do you really think they thought this applied to everything????
So Wayne, what is it you are up to that you don't want anyone to SNITCH on you for? Looks like it hit a nerve there in the negative way!
