Second suspect in Bill Arp burglaries denied bond on laundry list of charges

An Atlanta man is facing a laundry list of charges stemming from his alleged role in a massive burglary ring that had part of Douglas County saturated with deputies late last year .

Oh my, what an interesting case. Especially the quotes from the people themselves. Naturally we have one from Momma:

“My son has too much to lose,“He’s supposed to start in January for college. He was already in school going for criminal justice. He’s just been around the wrong crowd.”

You just can't make this stuff up. I wonder if she realizes what a slap in the face this statement is to an honorable police officer?


Then we have his own words to the judge:

“All these crimes they said I committed, I had nothing to do with none of that, ma’am, When I come to Douglasville, I’m with my baby mama and my son.”

I wonder how many of these guys realize that using terms like "baby momma" does not help their case at all either. Calling a woman your "baby momma" means you don't think enough of her to marry the mother of your child and prefer instead to raise a child at arm's length. This too is an insult to society and demonstrates a complete lack of responsibility.

So of course the judge is keeping him in jail, duhhhhhh, he's part of an organized crime ring. I only wonder what he wore to court. Surely a suit!

VERRRY accurate. I almost choked when I read that he used the term 'baby momma' to a judge. I cringe every time I hear someone say it. I keep waiting for the punchline because there is no WAY a person would speak like that...is there?

I'm sure the judge put less weight on the terms or street slang this guy used and put more weight on the facts of the case, wanted in Slidell, repeatedly sold stolen stuff....he's a flight risk and he wasn't going anywhere.
