Exposes your bias and makes me very suspicious that your second statement is just as false. Care to provide any proof?

I may be wrong here but I think it hasn't been a year yet. Didn't they teach civics in your school?

Bush Just Escapes Being $5-Trillion Man Font size Print E-mail Share 103 comments Posted by Mark Knoller (White House/Eric Draper)Twenty-four days saved George W. Bush from running up five trillion dollars of government debt. The latest posting on the Department of the Treasury website shows the National Debt just hit $10.759-trillion dollars. And that $5-trillion and change more than it was on the day Pres. Bush took office on Jan. 20, 2001. Even so, Mr. Bush ran up the biggest increase in the National Debt of any American president. The Debt was $5.727-trillion on his first day in the White House. And on the day he left, it was $10.626-trillion. That means the Debt increased by $4.899-trillion on his watch. Some would round it off to $5-trillion – but that wouldn’t be fair. He was saved from five trillion dollar infamy by $101-billion.

So the debt increased $4.899 trillion over 8 years and was at $10.626 trillion when Bush left office. According to my iphone application the national debt is now $12.018 trillion. Simple math says that the debt has increased $1.392 trillion in the 9 months and 18 days that obama has been in office. At that pace the debt will be $17.659 trillion at the end of 4 years and God forbid he gets 8 it will be $24.692 trillion. Today's debt equals about $39,251 per U.S. citizen which would equate to $78,502 (not adjusting for population growth) per U.S. Citizen then.

Can you provide a source, or is this some crap you heard on talk radio? Let's be factual when discussing politics. There's enough wrong on both sides of the fence that we don't need to make shit up.

Future benefits for the Prescription Drug Bill is about $7 Trillion more.

There you go...let us know what you think about that or I'm sure we can already deduce that it's the conservative spin that has caused this number to be so high. Here is a quote from the article: "The average rebate was $4,000. But the overwhelming majority of sales would have taken place anyway at some time in the last half of 2009, according to Edmunds.com . That means the government ended up spending about $24,000 each for those 125,000 additional vehicle sales." It says right in the article that the government paid an average rebate of $4000.00 per vehicle. You know what that means? It means the government paid an average of $4000.00 per vehicle. Period. The rest is just voodoo math using made up statistics and a useless filter to try and get a headline. It is irresponsible fact spinning of the worst kind. The governement paid $4000.00 per vehicle, and that is that.

You have consistently pointed out what is wrong with conservatives and talk radio. Please tell us what you think is wrong with ALL the other stations AND the Democrat party. Please expound on THAT for a change.

Please tell us what you think is wrong with ALL the other stations AND the Democrat party. Please expound on THAT for a change. That is a fair question, and I'm up for the challenge. TO begin with, I have consistently derided talk radio. I have two problems with it. The first problem is the hosts, they are paid to be controversial and to work people up. That is their job. They themselves know that a lot of their arguments are full of holes, one sided, and irresponsible. That is not their problem..they are being paid to work people up at all costs, get ratings, or get fired. The second problem is the people LISTENING to it. Most of the people who listen to it do not form their own informed opinions of the issues. They simply agree with the guy doing the talking(we already know what their problem is), and then parrot what they hear as their own opinion. The don't think for themselves and they do not get balanced views on the issues. It is single-handedly creating a divisive and stupid electorate. As you can see..I'm not political in my stance on what the problem is here..however the Republicans have made it into an art form. Democrats are full of problems. Our whole governmental system has morphed into an unwieldy, corrupt, broken shadow of what it was intended to be. A person can't even begin to make it to a national office until they've sold their soul to some corporate interest or lobbying group of some kind. Democrats are not immune, but they are less riddled with the "good 'ol boys" club than the Republican party. There is some compassion and hope for a better world in the Democratic party. If you followed the election maps last year, you will see that red and blue were almost perfectly mapped along geographical areas of education. The more racist and back-woods the county (or state) the more it voted for the Republicans. It was clear as day. Check it out for yourself.
