Ok, so your saying WIKI has precedent over what the official state of Georgia information states? F Y I - WIKI is written by people like you and I - not factual historians! and Frederick Douglass was not EVEN KNOWN for his acts until LONG after Civil Ward was over and Douglas County was born - James!

As for going to the board of commissioner in Jan. 2007 -- it was to save you the taxpayer 230 million dollars -- now how many of you have 230 million dollars? the school board does not have the power of taxation - nor can it by itself pledge future tax use - thats why I went before the governing body which has the power of taxation.

My campaign for Chairman is built on one principle, to Bring Awareness to Bring about Change. Human Beings love comfort and tranquility. We do not like conflict and hardship. In Douglas County we have been living in the darkness. They have changed meeting times too during the day only to keep you the citizens from attending, they shut off water to county resident living in Villa Rica area because they don't like zoning in that area, they've let justice become injustice, they lied over and over about SPLOST and spending our tax money illegally and for purposes they want and not what the people vote to have them spent on, they let our school system become a family run system with too many of our children failing and dropping out, and the list goes on. Darkness cannot drive out darkness - Light can only drive out darkness. It’s time we let the light shine on the problems in order to find solutions to solve our problems to move ahead.
