Mar-05 opposes the proposed 60% required majority for (SPLOST) vote
May-05 it [Flagview] is just going to cost more and more money for the taxpayers…
Feb-06 we purchased 16-1/2 acres,[but] do not have funds .. hopefully that park will be included in the SPLOST
Jul-06 if [SPLOST] is not passed, the burden ...will be placed on county property owners
Nov-06 Commissioner Ashmon:..Tom kept attacking me about impact fees ....
Feb-07 1% sales tax … does not bring in that much money
Aug-07 [$166 mln. SPLOST] … 50% for Jail and 50% to satisfy the obligations of the County
Aug-07 additional [to $166mln. SPLOST]$37 million will be paid in tax revenues
Sep-07 We must focus now on the best means to do this without SPLOST
Mar-08 tax digest grew by 13.7 percent last year and that helped us
Apr-08 contract signed despite unexpected cost .. we’re going to have to find some way to fund this ..

4. Two SPLOST defeated, but planning for $120 mln center (jail) continues ..
5. Tom has nothing to say (www.tomworthan.net) and is 100 % garantee that taxes will go up, contracts without bidding and payments withot contracts will go on.

They can freeze the appraisals all they want. All they have to do is increase the millage rate. They will never agree to a millage rate freeze.
