I only hope the ones who voted for Obama feel good about their decision 4 years from now. This country needs to be united not divided.

This country shall never be united. Never. Those days are over. Employers are cutting folks from full time to 30 hours or less so they will not be penalized under Obama Care. So we will have more folks working as they intend to hire more part time workers. So we will have more underemployment and more folks not able to make ends meet. Just wait till the employers figure out it will be cheaper to pay a penalty than to offer you insurance and kick you to the curb to take Obama Care. It is coming. We can not stay on this road of spending more than we can ever take in. Taking other folks money to spread the wealth around is good until that money is gone. Then what. The goal to get as many folks dependent on BIG GOVT is now going to go full speed ahead. American has now gotten deeply entrenched in the I deserve something for nothing and will vote for the person they think will give them those items. I only hope I can make it a few more years and retire. I will take my retirement and look at another country to retire to.

Congratulations - you have just been handed the largest tax increase in US history, it will begin on January 1 - estimates of $3500 per family enjoy this. Also if you work for a company that has more then 50 employees expect layoffs...because 49 or under employees are exempt from the health care law. Guess what this mean for small business, no growth. Boy aren't we happy and excited!

You people still showering us with your doom and gloom. President Obama has pulled us up out this mess the Republicans created...remember Bush. The climate is changing. Thank God

I remember Bush - unemployment under 5%
gas 1.88 a gallon
my paycheck was great - now not so much

I remember Bush standing with the firefighters in NYC vowing that this would not go unnoticed

I remember flags flying with great pride.

I don't remember Bush apologizing for anything America stood for.

I remember Bush

I'm not saying there WILL be doom and gloom. Considering Obama's past record, how are you SO SURE that we aren't headed for doom and gloom? Just want to hear what you have to say. Remember....you are POSITIVE this won't happen. Now, go....

Doom and gloom, I may have to pay taxes to drive on the road someone else paid taxes to build in the first place. I may have to pay taxes to keep the school open for someones kid because someone paid taxes for my kid to attend school.
Oh and don't forget if you are raped it is something that God planned.

I am puzzled by the fear of healthcare disappearing from jobs. Healthcare has been disappearing for over 20 years. Now we will still be able to access it, in the event the job disappears.

You clearly have no idea about your upcoming taxes. At any rate, I was interested in hearing what that other person had to say.

It will be less expensive for employers to cut back hours of full time employees and not have to pay for their insurance.

OR

It will be less expensive for employers to have fewer employees and double up on the work that is expected of the remaining employees.

I agree with that, but I don't see how having health care changes that, as that is what has been happening for over 20 years. The costs have skyrocketed. That is why we need a plan requiring health care, so that we can manage those costs, and access health care. Prevention and education, really does cost less.
