Supposedly the LA fitness is going where The Village At Chapel Hill is supposed to be? And is that all that's going to be there? I thought the shopping center was still going to build there.
The Avenue Chapel Hills fell through because Benchmark(owners of the land)wanted a fortune for the land. Cousins Development walked away from the table. So far, LA Fitness and Bank America are going in. I don't think anythink else has signed on.

The fitness classes aren't the aerobics. They're training sessions for the equipment. You do have to pay for the aerobics per class unless you have the $25 membership. I asked a manager about what they are telling people about the pool. She said they try to make it clear before someone joins that it is closing especially if they seem interested in it. She also told me that if someone had joined before the announcement to close it, and that was the main reason they joined, they would allow them to cancel the membership. As for the movies, I know I'll never exercise long enough to see the whole thing but it sure is better than what TV offers. Have a great day everybody!
I've yet to see "training sessions for the equipmen". They are still holding the same classes they've always had. I don't think anything has changed as far as the classes go. Except that you cant do them at the $15 level. Considering most people were paying $39 a month before, you're actually saving money by doing the $25 plan...

And the new membership pricing clearly states that the pool is not included at any membership level. If you haven't seen them, ask for it at the counter. Under each level it says what's not included. Pool is excluded from all 3.

On another note. Anyone know what's being build next to Kohl's? I saw a site there has been cleared and prepped from construction.

The dentist in the building next to Khol's told one of my friends that Hobby Lobby is supposed to go there. I assume he knows because his office will be right next door.
