The best salon in Douglasville by far, is Lyquyd Salon on Fairburn Road. All of the stylist there are very knowledgable and extremely confident with what they do. They all also enjoy what they do, and they care about how you look and feel about yourself. Its not a pricy, money hungry, over priced place. Just some very well talented, confident stylist, making a living doing what they love. Myself, my husband and my sons have been going to Bethany at Lyquyd Salon for over 15 years. And none of us have ever had a bad style, cut or color. Bethany has actually worked with and mentored some of the other stylist mentioned in this forum. I get compliments on my hair every where I go. Stylist from other salons in Douglasville know me and will ask if Bethany is still doing my hair, they know how picky I am and they always tell me how great the cut and color look. My husband nor my sons will go anywhere else. Any of the stylist at Lyquyd are very capable of making you look your best! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I've had nothing but great experiences at Chastain & Co. at The Landing. They're a little "Southern", but I come out with flawless hair and my stylist always does EXACTLY what I ask her to. Plus, for $30 for a cut, you can't beat it.
Chastain and Company is the WORST!!! Took my daughter there a few years ago for a perm and they not only fried her hair, but her neck too. The girl was too busy with the grown ups to put conditioner around her neck. Then she stuck her in a corner and forgot her. Guess she thought she wasn't gonna get a good enough tip from a teenager.$100.00 bucks later her hair was ruined.
Took years for all the broken hairs to grow out enough to lay down. Thank God for Davis Clay - they fixed it so she could at least go out in public.

I just spent a fortune getting my mom's hair and my daughter's hair done -- coloring, highlights, the works.

They both look amazing, absolutely amazing.

I've been wanting to try Sweetgrass at Little 5 Points or Segars in Sandy Springs/Atlanta/Roswell.

Duh, I spent that fortune at Davis Clay. They do look amazing, though!

Spoken like a stylist (price quote and shop name with location), not a customer.

Dear Daughter goes to Lyquid....she seems very happy. I'm more of a Cut n Up type of mom. I've been going there for several years.
My Momma loves Heidi @ Cutnup. They are very good to here there. Very sweet bunch of ladies at Cutnup

I've never had a great experience at any of the salons around here... But one does stick out as a bad experience - Liquyd Salon (or however they spell it). I had an appointment with them and when I showed up, they were CLOSED! They'd all left early, screw my appointment!

I worked at Pats Hair Shoppe. I worked there from October to May. Pat Duke, and sorry.....she is crazy. She took me in, and wanted nothing but to help me. When I did not do what she wanted, she turned.
I worked 2 jobs when I started, and circumstance took the other job. I found out she was calling that job asking questions she had no business asking.
Of course when I left it was a big ordeal.....and I was to blame.
I am 46 years old, and do not need another set of parents.

I hope that NO one goes to Liquyd Salon, unless you want to be worked on by Cyber bullies who pick on little kids, Kari Ann Osborne is a 28 year old BULLY, she bullies kids and I hope that people stop giving her and her other bullies business!!!

u do realize that Lyquyd has nothing to do with Kari Osbourne right ?
She was a client that made a complaint about the business that u are attacking ! And then they tried to make it up to her and she wasted their time .. Sooo ur issue is with her not the salon!

I'm not sure how you got so confused about this situation but we at Lyquyd do not know this Kari person.
I have seen her trashing people and businesses on Topix a lot but she does not know us and we do not know her.
She posted a negative comment about us on here. We tried to fix it by offering her a service at no charge. She made an appointment and then no showed on us.
Not much else we can do.
As far as saying we at Lyquyd are cyber bullies.... That's just simply not true. We are above that type of behavior and if there is a comment that we feel the need to say, we will not hide behind a screen name.
Thank you for taking the time to hear me..
