After telling more stories and tall tales in political history, Paul Ryan came out today as pro-liar. FOX news , MSNBC, ABC and CBS have been hounding him for a week for telling lies and he came out today and gave this statement: "After FOX news reported my big lies at the convention, I just couldn't take it anymore". He has also fired his taylor.

“Liberals are closet raaacists!”

Biden?

He might not win any trophies for great oratory, but the man deserves respect.

He got out of college and worked as a public defender.

He served 6 terms in the American Senate. His constituency kept re-electing him. He is the 15th longest-serving senator in US history. He was chairman of the Foriegn Relations Committee. He opposed the Gulf War, worked for civil liberties, anti-crime, tax relief, the Job Creation Act and on and on and on. Then on some more.

He's experienced, and he's a true public servant.

Maybe he's not the best speech-giver, but I'll take him over Crazy-A$$ Palin anyday. Ryan? The only thing he's really ever done was read Atlas Shrugged and ate the buffet snacks in the House.

Freakin' Republicans want to go on about America, and Eagles and Flags and Guns and Pickups and Oil and Money all day long, they should shut-up and salute when somebody who actually cares about America like Biden walks into the room.

Easy trigger. Biden is a moron and I can't believe you even discussed Ryan's experience or lack there of as an Obama supporter. Wow.

Ok, let's say that you've just been nominated as a vice-presidential candidate. Possibly about to get the job that potentially leaves you just one tragedy away from toting the nuclear football.

You get to make a speech. You have millions of dollars at your disposal to prepare, and some very educated and politically savvy people at your disposal. Fox will be watching, CNN will be watching, MSNBC will be watching, BBC will be watching, damn near everybody in the world will be watching. American voters will be watching. Every word you say will be analyzed, pulled apart, checked, validated and discussed. You know this.

Don't you think you'd better make sure you aren't lying every other word? Failure to do so is just stupid.

How can we put a man that can't even get such a simple premise right to be 2nd in command? Ryan was a moron in this case. He blew it.

Maybe in 2016 the Republicans will figure out how to put somebody that isn't a joke up as a candidate. If the party even exists by then. After they lose this election, America is going to start getting fed up with their sad policies and lack of concern for actual citizens.

The man (Ryan and Romney for that matter) are honest for as far as I can see. I research. I listen. The disgrace is what you here the Dem.'s say when they think the microphone is not on. They are vulgar, trash talking,...the kind of people I would not have in my house! Biden is the biggest embarrassment.

Well that's just like, your opinion, man!

Too bad it's not actually based on anything. Have you actually read a headline in the last couple of days?

I read several articles concerning the so called lies and each said that Ryan said nothing factually untrue concerning the GM plant and regarding his claim Obama did nothing after the deficit committee issued the final report that is just a matter of opinion. It could easily be argued that Obama's campaign manager lied when he accused Ryan of lying.

There was a lot more involved than the GM plant closing. By the way, the plant ANNOUNCED it was closing under Bush's watch, but it took a few months to wrap things up, ultimately closing right after Obama took office.

And as long as we're on the subject, Obama didn't close the plant. The auto-makers whose butt's he saved did. A whole lot of other plants DIDN'T close as a direct result of action Obama took immediately upon taking office. Bush could have taken some of those actions before Obama, but he didn't. All he was doing that last couple of months in office was being wide-eyed and petrified at how his house of cards was tumbling down.

I am aware that Obama didn't close the plant and the mismanagement of the auto industry in the US is another story but Obama led the workers to believe he would help save the plant during a speech there if elected.

What he said was this:

“I know that General Motors received some bad news yesterday, and I know how hard Gov. Doyle has fought to keep jobs in this plant. But I also know how much progress you’ve made — how many hybrids and fuel-efficient vehicles you’re churning out. And I believe that if our government is there to support you and give you the assistance you need to retool and make this transition, that this plant will be here for another hundred years.”

However, Ryan intentionally gave the impression that Obama lied to the plant workers.

And that's all there really is to the whole affair.

Ryan also blamed Obama on the US Credit downgrade. Standard and Poors (who did the downgrade) blamed the Republican House refusal to work. Ryan was part of that house.

Ryan claimed Americans only got more debt out of the Stimulus. It saved 3.3 MILLION jobs and lowered taxes for most families.

Ryan blamed Obama for Tarp, the wars, and Medicaid. Things he (Ryan) actually voted for.

He blamed Obama for walking away from Simpson-Bowles, when he (Ryan) actually recommended against it.

And Ryan continued to perpetrate to myth of the "You didn't build that" intentional mis-quote that was proven a lie before he even hit the stage.

Ryan purposely and with full knowledge and forethought, lied to the American people.

No nuclear football for you, Ryan.

Lyin' Ryan - A cautionary tale of how NOT to try to lie to the good people of the United States of America.

SO? Vote for Obama AGAIN. Makes sense to vote for someone with a failing record. Go ahead.

You're drunk on Republican Kool-Aid. But you still have nothing to say except to make empty confrontational posts.

Try actually saying something. You like being the bully on the playground here, over and over and freakin' over. But you have no content.

Answer me this: Did the Republicans block every move Obama tried to make? Yet you want to complain that Obama was unsuccessful.(which he hasn't been).

Explain to me how that is good for America. Really. Explain that to me.

Again, you told us Ryan was a liar and your post shows its nothing more than an opinion. This is one thing that a large number of Americans are getting tired of. They are tired of hearing democrats and the leftist mainstream media overstate their beliefs to gather support by saying "the republicans lied" instead of saying "we do not agree with Ryan's" statement. It's gotten old quickly.
