Hello again everybody. Last night April 7th 2008 we heard the most hypocritical message ever delivered in this church and probably in America. Our associate pastor Clay Cox preached on discipline and I was so stunned at what I heard I almost screamed at him "Liar". How in God's name could he preach what he preached knowing that the staff, deacons, and our church membership had done NONE of the 6 six steps he preached in past to our former members. As member I am embarrassed and red faced at how this message was not used in the past. What a false doctrine we have been taught and living in the past as a "church". Mike Everson's and his staff's ineptness legacy will live forever at this church and throughout the GBC. What a "sheep in wolf's clothing these men in leadership are".

Yes, he preached the way it is suppose to be done, but again as with Mike Everson and the others Ministerial Staff and Deacons here, do not live it!

Why did you not stand up and say enough of this crap? Not trying to pick, but if you feel it is important enough to post on Topix, then what are you doing about it? BTW I do believe that PMBC has got a lot of problems.

Exactly. They hate the message there, but do nothing but sit there like cultists awaiting their next command. As you know, I had some arguments with Doug Pittman about how he handled PMBC, but at least he had the stones to stand up and call them out.

I will answer all who basically ask the same question - why stay?

That has been the problem with this church - no one WILL stay and fight this "cult". Yes I feel it was a cult when Mike was here. I still feel with Morris & CJ and others in charge there still is Kool Aid drippings everywhere. I have chosen to "stay in the ship" and do so in order that everyone "outside" of this church feels and can comprehend what it is like within these walls. Until this church/cult releases hateful hearts of past members who we all know were done wrong (as evidenced by Clay Cox message on discipline)this church will never, I mean never heal. Do I need to go, YES. Am I going to stay and report this to this and other forums, yes. If ALL these issues with Mike and his "deacons" had not been reported imagine how powerful he could have been. The Georgia Baptist Convention and its church's suffer today because of this mans hatred towards all opposition. Please understand what I say is not to bring this church down, I am continuing a fight to remove these that are not ministers unto this body of believers.
I understand your question of why stay, but again I will not leave as others have and I will remain to expose issues I see coming from this "leadership".

I would expect you to ask this, as you and I have a history on the subject of my church. You tend to the Methodist, I will handle these "Cult" Kool Aid Cup Fillers here at Prays Mill.

as a start; a Public Apologize to all former members for the actions taken against them. Clay preached a sermon that really opened our eyes and it shows how wrong the leadership of this church was to them and how we were "deceived" as members during these guys tenure. I mean to everyone whom we ridiculed.

Mike Everson deserved every bit of the exposure he received from websites, calls, meetings, letters etc.,

So, basically, nothing has changed. You are still waiting for the public apology. And until you get one, we can look forward to you leveling accountability to everyone in the situation.

Yes, that is a great assumption x, I will not be Holding my breath. As they continue the "stirring of the pot", so will the responses.

Stir, Stir, Stir.- this is what these men know best.- so I just add some ingredients to their requirements.

Why do you not stand up this Sunday and express your views? You claim membership. Stand up and let know. Do you not owe that to your fellow members and the Church? Why keep going somewhere that keeps beating you down? Kinda like the wife who keeps returning to the abusive husband? Tell them all the same as you have told us. I have this feeling deep inside though that is telling me you would rather come here and complain than to fix your own Church. Please prove that feeling wrong.

Oh do not think I do not want to. As I have said before, Leaving is what others have done for years. I have made a determination that I am not going anywhere until this settles down. I have heard from very reliable sources that Mike continues to receive pay from here, even though he "so called resigned". I plan on exploiting this If and when I find out. Ask anyone in charge and they will only tell you, he had a "contract". You know I have many friends who have left in the past and look what happened. I too would fall prey to these mens gestapo cult tactics as others have in the past if I complained I have learned from others experiences and I will continue to expose as warranted. They seek me out weekly, but never will they suspect me as PMC MEMBER. In the past when Mike was here, You should see our deacons in special meetings, they post deacons in the back corners of the rooms to see and view "who" may get disruptive or cause unwanted activity at PMBC. Makes you thing the President is coming in and "secret service agents" are on the lookout. It is unbelievable here.

Then you have not seen Clay's sermon on that was posted from PM's website from April 6th. Listen and you will see they have never done what he nor others preach here.

I think if you are not attending church for the reasons you originally started, then maybe you should find a new church. The church should be there to help with your relationship with God. It sounds to me like you leave with hatred for others and nothing that leaves you feeling good or happy.

I am normal until something abnormal such as Clay's sermon (plus others in the past) really rile me up. You know, the ones like when they "beg" for money.(More Mike than anyone else) I am happy 9o% of the time. Love the Sunday School.
