All the people on unemployment need to take over the mexican jobs, and no one get unemployment. I've never drawn unemployment, I had the chance, but I didnt think it was right. I just buckled down till I filled out 100's of applications and sent the same amount of resumes out and found another job. American folk are to lazy! and want to be paid way more than they are worth!

I spent two weeks last summer at Yellowstone National Park on Business. I noted that most of the waitresses, cooks, cleaners and groundskeepers at the hotels and restaurants were from Asia, Eastern Europe, or Latin America. I would have thought there would be plenty of Americans willing to spend the summer washing dishes in this economy, especially since they provide a dorm room. But not so.
One of the big problems with our economy is that the available jobs do not match available skills or preferences. Americans either lack the skill and training to do the good jobs, or the willingness to do the menial ones.
We don't lack the willingness, we just need to be paid a decent livable wage. See my post above. I'd love to go back to being a cook for instance, but cannot support my family or even contribute meaningfully on what they will pay.
