The thing that is important to recognize by thinking Republican supporters such as yourself, is that trying to beat up on Clintons speech is futile. A whole lot of extremely smart people have been trying all day to find holes they can knock in it, and they just haven't come up with anything that's not weak and sad. Of course the non-thinking Republican supporters will continue looking foolish with empty and pathetic statements. I don't even like to use them, but occasionally I do. They are either left or right. There is NO PROVEN nonpartisan factcheck site. YOU are the only person I know who believes: 1. Clinton gave an indisputable speech 2. Factchecks are reliable It's difficult to accept that a thinking individual would believe those two things.

Clinton just pulled one of the greatest scams of modern history. I think Obama realizes this as did Michelle as you watch the looks she gave Clinton during his speech. Do you think I care? I am not trying to belittle Clinton. As time goes on you will see this.

Dig into the background of factcheck.org . You'll find that the original founder(s) are left. Sorry to burst liberal your bubble.

I noticed the looks Michelle was giving Clinton, too. I thought it rather odd. Maybe she was able to read the underlying message he was sending. He didn't use Obama's name very much. Perhaps Clinton was being passive aggressive?

Bigdave1 wrote: <quoted text> You guys just don't get it. You really need to replay the Clinton speech and see what Clinton pulled off. First he managed to give a speech that Obama may not be able to touch. Then he patted himself on the back about his (Clintons) accomplishments and how he was able to give and take and work across the aisle. He reminded everyone how well the country was doing under his leadership. He stood there and openly told lie after lie knowing that Romney's people were going to have a hay day with them. He openly brought up subjects that Obama hasn't and does not want to discuss during this election. This puts Obama in a really bad position of trying to discuss his achievements in the last four years. Clinton probably hates Obama and the feeling is mutual. Why Obama let this man give this speech is beyond me. A bad decision. Clinton is the ultimate politician and has the political brains to go with it. He stood there on stage for 45 minutes opening up a huge can of worms that Obama now has to somehow pick up and get the voters minds on something else. Clinton stood in the spotlight and reminded all the Democrats at the convention that it was really wonderful being a Democrat when he was president. Never under estimate the abilities of one of the worlds most clever politicians. Ex-President William J. Clinton. The first Black President. Remember that? If you don't believe me just watch the speech again. Open your mind and take the glitter out of your eyes. You will then see and hear the greatest back stabbing feat ever done. +1 well stated.

Michelle figured it out. Did you see the looks she was giving Clinton during his speech. I thought she was going to throw up. Seriously. A few times she looked absolutely disgusted.
I wonder if the libs remember that Clinton had a Republican congress.
One of my financial people told me that statistically and historically, the stock market has done best when we had a democrat president and a republican congress.

I was doing stuff on the computer, so I was listening to Mr. Clinton in the background, so I didn't see Moochelle my bell (per Limbaugh)... No the libs won't remember that (or even understand it), just like they don't remember that BO had a democratic congress for his first 2 years... I agree with your financial person.

I wonder if Mr. Biden or anyone in the media really understands what really happened when BO "saved" the auto industry. He saved the UAW and screwed the bondholders, disregarding the law as it relates to bondholders. Another example of the uneducated....

Everything else is subjective and we're going to disagree with others based on our beliefs, education and research... That being said, if people knew what they SHOULD know (i.e., watch the 2016 movie), they would have more facts to make an educated, informed decision... "Shared prosperity" = Socialism...
