I have been told by someone who would KNOW that a strip club has applied for a operating license in the old taco bell building on hwy 92.I was told this property backs up to the fulton county line and the businesses along the east side of 92 are actually IN fulton county bounderies.Has anyone else heard this also?

Hwy 92 is pretty long road from end to end and there could be several old taco bell buildings along it. Can you be more specific about location?

If you are talking about the old taco bell building on hwy 92/Fairburn Road just off of I-20, then no, that is nowhere near the Fulton County line.

Fulton county starts just past 92 and 166 at the Chattahoochee river. I don't see how any business in Douglasville could back up that far.

Come on people, stay on point, when do we get a strip club?

I hope this is not true. There are two schools right there. A Ga Pre-k & a Christian Pre-school.

Its scary trying to keep all those Christian pre-schoolers out of strip clubs. I wonder if they'll have a buffet. As a Baptist I know where I would go for lunch after service. Can I get a Amen?!

Amen!
I lived over in Alabama for a year about 15 years ago. We had a strip club there called "The Booby Trap." Although I never had the opportunity to partake of the place, I did once pass there and notice on the sign that on Wednesday evenings they had a Mother-Daughter act.

Now I wish I had given into my curiosity. But I have a wife, so I just didn't feel the need at the time.

If the economy doesn't get better in Douglas County, we will see some new schools springing up combining dance and massage with public speaking, exhibition science and videography. Plastic surgeons will flock to Douglasville where the opportunities are.

What would we name such a school?

I am working on a new invention-- called the "Crabby Wet T-shirt Experience." It always appears wet when you put it on but doesn't require water. I'll be selling it at Baptist Churches and Christian schools in this area, but also to Muslims and Jews. I am an equal-opportunity clothier. Although this will compete with the new strip clubs coming into town, I intend to catch the wave early on.

By the way, did I mention that I am a huge supporter of breast feeding?

The people who are responsible for making Douglas County and Douglasville attractive to businesses that would create jobs are evidently just too ignorant to know how to do that. They want credit for bringing in jobs, but they have no ability to bring in the quantity and quality of jobs that we need here.
Therefore, we will either continue to have people go bankrupt or we will have an ever-growing poverty level.

What we need here is a gigantic miracle, but I don't see anyone with the talent to pull it off. Where is the knight or princess on a white horse who rides into town and saves us from devastation? We have relied on Atlanta to keep this county's economy going, but Atlanta has no more jobs to give.

Maybe I am wrong. In fact, I invite people everywhere to prove that I don't know what I'm rambling about at all. In the meantime, does anyone of legal age want to work for my strip club? I'll try to set it up on Broad Street somewhere near Gumbeaux.

Oh, I think you are just taking advantage of the situation there Bill. You have to come up with some "talking points" if you are to have any credibility. I don't prove anything. I just point out the obvious to people with no vision.

Do you have a point to make other than to discredit me? I don't think so.

I'm still waiting on a response from a couple of weeks ago where you claimed I was racist.

Conveniently, you disappeared for a while after that...

But yeah, I was taking advantage of the situation. You served it up on a platter. Apologies, if needed.

Well, I must have gotten really busy if I disappeared and didn't answer your post about being racist. I don't actually get a chance to hang out here all that often due to to-do list issues, but if I called you a racist and you aren't one, good for you.

It is easy for people to call each other all kinds of things. The latest trend I see in here is people who think that calling someone old is some kind of insult. The older I get, the more I learn, so calling me old is no insult at all.

I guess those who use age as an insult are either never going to have to live long enough to be old, or they have no foresight.

The entire boundry between Douglas and Fulton Counties is the river so there is no land that could border 92 between the two.

I was going to call BS on the first paragraph, but it's not worth it...

I have no idea what you're talking about in the next 2 paragraphs. Off on a tangent again, I guess.

It's public record, moron. You can check for yourself. And if it's true, thank God. My wife's been putting on a few extra pounds and I could use a change of scenery.
