Bitter? Nah. I understand how he won the election. My question to the Keynesian economist was what has Barack Obama done to "earn" it. He was trying to somehow say that Barack Obama had accomplished something that BWB had not. In reality, GWB was more qualified to hold the office of President by a long shot. He actually held an executive office, something Barack Obama had not. Comparatively speaking, GWB was qualified to be president, Barack Obama and his 180 days in the Senate, was/is not. Barack Obama ran as a moderate, lied about his feelings on big issues, denied he said things he was caught on video saying, and people were so desperate for something different that they chose to believe the things he said on the campaign trail instead of the things he said to the unions, to Joe the Plumber, and countless other speeches from early in his political career. The Republicans countered that with, well, Barack Obama's clone. John McCain is a RINO right down to his toenails. His votes become more conservative whenever it gets clost to election time, and in the meantime he likes to pal around with his buddies Joe Lieberman and Russ Fiengold. He probably cried with Feingold got his tail chunked out of office last year. Obama ran as, lets be honest, the black version of John McCain, and it worked. Even you can't deny that he's not governing like he campaigned. He's governing like he said he would in all those speeches he was never questioned about.
Very well stated.
