It sounds to me like all of the ex-smokers have too much time on their hands and are also very, very cranky.

Good! Smoking can not only lead to cancer, but increase the risk of gum disease and the tooth loss that often accompanies it. If you smoke, I urge you to quit or undergo regular screenings for gum disease, like these: http://drsohl.com/relaxation.php

Hysterical headline drama queens, using the word BANNING to make it sound like it was forced on them instead of just that they are making the choice to STOP SELLING one product.

Nonsmokers get gum disease.
Please, Dr. Some professional dignity here.

I'm in the tobacco industry and I can tell you that their decision to stop selling tobacco is not unusual among drug stores and is most likely based on the fact that they did not sell enough tobacco to merit manufacture contracts from the tobacco companies that would allow them to compete with the prices that other retailers were able to offer. It's the nature of the business and it takes place every day.

What is so comical CVS will still be selling lots of corn syrup infused soda and tons of candy to a bevy of morbidly obese folks and diabetics.

Can someone say hypocricy?

In todays societs it is somehow ok to be a fat ass, but if you are a smoker, somehow you became a national pariah.

CVS is owned by Caremark-a prescription plan outfit.

Odd how selling cigs is somehow a conflict for them, but not the junk food.

you want to debate junk food, start a new discussion. This one is about banning the sale of cancer sticks. Maybe you're not feeling well after that last pack?

Hey dumbass, we are talking about CVS and cigarettes and their hypocritical beahvior.

Think about all the sweet junk food they sell to these 400lb beasts that are unable to even properly take a bath. Matter of fact, some of these fat ass cows are physically unable to wipe their own ass.

Yes they are rather useless and smell, but they are great examples of how NOT to live life.

Couldn't agree more, Dr. Young. I actually just commented on a similar post. Even fi you just focused on cosmetic issues, smoking stains your teeth ( http://jamesstewartdds.com/cosmetic-dentist.h... ).
