Praying for the Families

As a parent, I have no words for how heartsick this situation has made me. These families were trying to protect their children in a safe environment. I just truly feel sick to my stomach over this. This is something no parent and child should have to endure. Holding these precious families and children up in prayer this morning. I am so very, very sorry that this happened to these families. God Bless
I think this thread should be used for prayer and supportive words only. JMHO-Praying .
There are alot of hurt and frightened families in our community this morning.

Another sad day and another black eye for Coffee County. I pray that people will be real and reach out for help when they need it.

I also feel sorry for the families. I only know one family that has children there, but I know they are great people and want the best for their children.
Sometimes no matter what we do as parents things like this can still happen.
My prayers to the families~

No Child should have to go threw that. Expecially at a school. This just shows how our world has ended up. Nobody is safe, anywhere.

My daughter used to go to that school and I met the preacher and I would have never thought that about him. But it just goes to show that we really never know who we are allowing our children to be around. You think that a preacher and the church would be a safe place for families and children but I was proven wrong. I pray for all of those families and especially thoses children. Stealing innocence from those children. I wonder where did he get his calling from it couldn't have been from GOD.

I so pray for the families of the victims and for those precious children. This is something they will not get over in the blink of an eye. Do you suppose the same is happening to his children? I certainly pray for his wife and children, also. Even the adults and children at the school that are not victims should be remembered in prayer. God Bless The World!

I KNOW THIS IS SO SAD THAT WE CAN NOT EVEN GO TO CHURCH ANYMORE WITH OUT SOMEONE HURTING OUR CHILDREN I THOUGHT CHURCH IS SUPPOSE TO BE ONE OF THE SAFEST PLACES TO GO WHEN YOU ARE A SINNER AND NEED HELP COMING TO THE LORD AND FOR CHRISTIANS TO GO TO PREY ? HOW DID THIS WORLD GO SO BAD?

Amanda, I am not wanting to start any trouble. You can go to church without some someone hurting your children. The world is not a safe place if you get your eyes off of God. One person got their eyes off God and you can't hold this church or any church responsible for what one person did. If anything, you can blame Adam and Eve. The world turned bad when they made the first mistake. God made things right when he sent his son to die on the cross for our sins. We are all sinners, but we can accept what God has offered and live in eternity one day with him.
