How could he not be going to fast for conditions if he wrecked?

Wow!! Were you following him? Why assume he was "driving to fast for conditions "? Why not just assume the weather conditions were awful this morning! ANYONE could of hit a puddle, lost control of their vehicle and wrecked! Why not just thank God it wasn't you or any of your family! I'm glad he wasn't hurt as I would be for anyone involved in a wreck! Officer Stone may not be well liked but he does his job effectively!

In regard to Officer Stones wreck Im glad he wasnt hurt, but most of all Im glad he didnt hurt anyone else. This is one of several wrecks he has been apart of and this was his fault. He isnt the only one with a police car driving to fast, and it is a matter of time before someone gets hurt, the douglas city police and the Sheriffs office run way to fast to insignificant things. Very stupid just like DUI, in fact speeding is the major cause of fatal wrecks in this state. they should be subject to super speeder laws the same as anyone else. If they had to pay about a 1000 dollar fine and have a suspended licence I bet they would all slow down..
If i were Officer Stones supervisor I would suspend him without pay and give him a ticket for super speeder. Losing control and running into a house is way to fast.If that were me i would have a ticket and suspended licence, its straight dumbass to run this fast on the road to some insignificant event, he wasnt in a chase, not going to a felony and not going to a wreck.

this year a trooper in atlanta ran into the atlanta braves trainer and killed his wife. they did suspend him after about 8 months, which is bullcrap. he should have been charged wtih vehicular homicide.

Call the dept of public safety and give them your opinion. write your Govennor the general assembley cause I am going too before one of these hotdogs kills some one or kills me.

If he is a police officer then he know that the road condictions are bad above anyone else. He has to be responsible and he wasnt, he used poor judgement, he broke the law.. He should be punished peroid for tearing up public and private property

If you work with him and you are an officer of the law doesnt mean that you are above the law. You toook and oath to up holdthe law not get around the law, because you wear a badge doesnt make you god. Officer Stone is subject to the law the same as anyone else.
On his word he can have someone arrested and take away their freedom. that is a big responsibility.when he breaks the law he is subject to it the same as anyone else.

If you are an officer and you have an attitude like this then maybe you need another profession. People dont make fun a good law enforcement, they respect it. Running to fast on a roadway and tearing up public and private property and running into a house is agaisnt the law. Punishment is deserved. This act and other acts like it give no respect to law enforsement. If i had done this and you worked the wreck i would have gotten a ticket in the neghborhood of this, driving to fast for condictions, speeding, reckless driving, super speeder..Fine approaching 1200 to 1400 dollars ..

Its time to slow the hell down before one of you yahoos kills someone or kills me; driving like a bat out of hell because you have a badge on and lights and sirens. You are not above the law and neither is Officer Stone.

I dont know officer Stone, he has never pulled me over and given me a ticket. I dont have a vendetta. I have just observed to many police sheriffs and GSP running way to fast for no reason because they have a car with lights and sirens.

He needs to be punsihed just like anyone else, and you roughneck need to get and attitude adjustment if your in law enforsement. Your judgement leaves a lot to be disired.

I have been ticketed by Trooper Stone on more than one occasion so he's not exactly my favorite person BUT if he was on a call and was in route speed really isn't the issue to me. If I need the police I want them there 5 minutes ago and in a matter of life or death seconds count. So unless you know the facts don't assume he was just out racing around in his Charger for kicks!

just wondered why Officer Stone is back on duty with no ramifacations from the wreck he caused and was at fault for speeding and reckless driving..I thinks this is a travesty of justice and needs to be investigated.. who is hiding this and who is covering this up? this is total bullcrap for nothing to be done

Don't guess it matters if he kills someone trying to get to you! They should keep all laws that apply to everyone else. When they are going to the scene of an accident, they need to take percautions that they don't run into someone else enroute.

Yes, he has a responsibility just as everyone else does! But, just as everyone else he can't control the weather! I'm sure it wasn't in his early morning plans to have a wreck. Yes he isn't above the law but to say be should be punished for tearing up the public and private property is ridiculous! The property owners aren't holding him responsible so why do you feel like you should push the issue.

From what I understand he is a pretty hard nosed officer, not much leaway and is by the book. Likes to "uphold the law". what is good for the goose is good for the gander..

Im tired of policemen/women driving way to fast to insignificant events and having /causing and perpetrating accidents. when they wreck a police car that is my and your tax money going down the drain. Acting like a cowboy racecar driver to something that will wiat is stupid. it will get someone killed, and it already has.

Officer Stone needs to be punished, just like you or I. I have written the DPS and expressed my displeasure in the way this was handled. they probably dont give a crap and it wont matter. I wrote my Senator and Representative an email too as well as the Govenor. Its time law enforcement uphold and as well obey the law.

Some of you seem to really have it out for Officer Stone. According to some if the posts I've read he was only going 50 mph. I'm pretty sure most of us have driven 50 or better when we shouldn't have. I sincerely hope that he doesn't get reprimanded for his actions! And the ones who are determined to see him get in trouble for this just remember karma ....what goes around comes around! It could be you, your children, family or friends! And while you think they shouldn't be in trouble because it was unavoidable just remember how bad you all wanted this Officer Stone to go down in flames!!!!!
