Do a little research. The Mayans never said the world would END, the date was suppose to be a REBIRTH. A new age. An age of enlightenment. But, as we all know.. nothing comes easily. The rebirth will not happen overnight, and just like the birthing process.. it will be painful. They're basically saying we will have to go through some more pain to get where we need to be. Clearly we're nowhere near "enlightenment" since everyone jumped on the bandwagon about the "end of the world".
