We do not need any mall. It would destroy the beautiful downtown area.

Would love to see more long term industries locate in Douglas. We need at least 3000 new jobs to help our economically depressed economy. Then we could attract other business. I remember how our area exploded in the 80's and early 90's only to have them leave.
We had a lower crime rate, people had money to spend. Alas that was before our government screwed us with more regulations, higher taxes.
Both democrats and republicans are to blame. Companies left America because of all the stifling burdens imposed by OSHA, EPA, etc. the list goes on.

I usually head to Tifton once a week. They have a publi applebees and a TJ Maxx. I fill up on gasoline while I am there it is much cheaper than gas here in Douglas is usually is enough to cover the extra miles to get over there.

Yes and I guess that you would like the green crap and the runoff be dumped into our ground water and our sewage system like the do in China and Mexico.

You need to drink your kool aid. I am tired of over burdening government regulations. The environmental movement is home to the communist manifesto. I guess you support sweat shops, child labor, people working for penny's on a dollar in foreign countries in order to save a penny here while mom and pop business goes under.

more clothing stores would be nice, along with any corporate resturant to replace Ruby Tuesday's, a few more bars would be nice also, a cab service that isn't scary would be cool to so you could get home from the bars.
