Teen boys (football players) rape and abuse a teen girl at 3 seperate parties in one night, while other teens watch, take pictures and video, then they all make light of it and act like its just a normal thing. How would our community act? Would we raise hell for justice or would we stick by star athlets at all costs?

I did not watch the video, but for rape I feel a eye for a eye. 3 days in the system and they will never rape again.

As far as I know nothing as serious as rape has happened here but I can tell you for certain from family experience abuse and other criminal behavior has occured by a star player years ago and he was protected by the well respected coach, and principal.

I'v been reading about this case on a few different websites, it seems as though the people in this small town have for the most part decided to stand by the players, so much so that the Assistant coach of the team (who was at one the parties with these kids) has claimed the teen victim lied about the entire thing in order to get out of trouble for drinking, noone has called for this mans job for his misconduct concerning throwing drinking parties for under age high school students. These boys carried this black out drink girl from one party to the next, exposing her, peeing on her, and doing god knows what else, all the while other teenagers laughed and had fun at this girls expense. I pray to god that if this sort of thing ever happen here that everyone would be fighting mad, mind you this happen months ago and is just now coming to light in main stream media.

A few years ago a LARGE group of teens were partying in the woods near my home. Quite a few were HS football players.
They was underage drinking and it got out of hand.
The sheriffs came out and broke it up.
All were told to leave, no one was arested for drinking and all were allowed to DRIVE away.

A lot of small towns with the FOOTBALL IS ALL attitudes would let bad things happen.

Everyone at the parties should be held just as responsible.

#1 the coach should have been fired for partying with the young people. If the young people are actually mean/stupid enought to do this with the coach around, what would have happened if he had not been there. You can cuss, fuss and call me all kind of names but the youth of today are totally out of control, parents are so busy defending them they can't see the forest for the trees. It is disgusting the lengths youth and parents will go to.
Let me say I know not all youth or parents are this way,I was speaking in general, not to point fingers at anyone.

"Quite a few were HS football players". Doesn't that also mean that quite a few were not HS football players? So what about all those deginerates? If we didn't live is this artsy-fartsy anything goes for all the non-athletes.......

Yea, my comment is stupid and unfounded. But not any more stupid than yours where you single out only football players and give them ALL the blame. Besides, you talk from a 1st person point of view from having been there. Unless it was you who called the law, doesn't that mean that you were contributing to the deliquency of minors by being there and doing nothing other than seeing who were football players?

Ricky dear, all should have been dealt with for underage drinking AND driving.

IMO the only reason they were let go is they wouldn't charge the lot of them as there were football players involved.
Maybe I'm wrong though maybe they just had the RIGHT last names.

Well, I guess we have to trust the judgement of those officers who where there. Unless you were there yourself, you don't know what exactly went on. And like you said, it's just your opinion and we all know that those are like anal sphincters.

Maybe is was because some football players were there; if there even were any there. Maybe it was because of their last name. Maybe it was because a cop on the scene was dating one of them. Maybe it was because the cops didn't want to fill out the paperwork and go through all the hassle of getting all those kids to the station, processed, parents called, ect. Maybe it was because there was a full moon and the stars aligned just right for those deviant little monsters. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Maybe you should just mind your own business and not try to blame a whole class of people for something that you know next to nothing about.

Non-football players cause more problems then kids who play football. But yet, it's petty athlete haters like yourself who try to drag them down any chance you get. Pathetic.

There's a rumor that rape-by-football-player has happened in Coffee County before and that the good ole boy system hushed it up and swept it under a rug. Money talks in small towns. Mid 80's. Who could that have been? Anyone else heard the rumor?

Never have heard that, but then again in the mid 80s I was a small child. I would like to say that kind of thing would suprise me but sadly nothing does anymore.

I would spend the rest of my life hiding from LE, because I would hunt down each kid that did this and then slowly torture them to death, then I would do the same to their families until I ran out of people to kill. If you suspect you child is capable of something like this you better do everything you can to make sure they get some mental help or just shoot them your selves. I dont care if it is wrong If you rape my wife or daughter you and your family will suffer and die, until something or someone kills me.

I abhor violence, but my Girls are my life and I protect them as such. And I will never stop, ever.

The fact that the town seems to stand by the team and not the facts of the case is as bad as the rape case in India. There is bound to be more than one recording of this girl being raped and everything else. It all will come out in the wash, but not without putting the girl, her family, and much of this town in great distress and even depression and thoughts of suicide. There is a special place in hell for them!
