I have bought bakery goods from a lot of bakeries around the USA, but I always compare them to Holt's and find that Holt's is the best. Keep up the good work Howard and staff.

I'd like Holt's bettter if most of the employees were't rude b*tches. I've had to bite my tongue more than once to keep from telling them to shove a lemon stick up their ass.

Yes they have red velvet cakes, they keep them on display in the cooler like where you place your order at. The best you will ever eat.

I wish all of you complainers would stay away from there. Then it wouldn't be so crowded when I go to get my treats.

We used to go eat there. We love the food. But the short guy who rings you up. Well he is rather verbally abusive to his employees. And has been in front of us. Just one too many times. People make mistakes because we are flawed. Does not mean be rude and hateful to them in front of customers. I know when my guys make mistakes at work. I call them off to the side and we discuss it calmly. Like mature adults. Lets face it. We are all gonna make mistakes. Bosses should know this by now. But it never hurts to be a little nicer.

I think it comes down to picking family over talent. Holts built its name off of great people, most of which still make just above minimum wage. It's not like Coffee County is known for its generous business owners but I get sick of hearing about how terrible the working class of Coffee County is treated. As I've learned, it's only the Bible belt on sunday,

Untrue, it's called greed. They are full of it. I have known several employees that have worked at Holts for many years to still make 8 bucks an hour. Needless to say they have moved on to other bakeries and now make a decent living. I think it's sad that they would use not only people but God to sell their items and peddle their cd's. These are people who will never see God's thrown.

In addition I hope they are reading this because they could use it as a wake up call.

I know for a fact that all their employees can eat whatever they want for free. I would work there just for that!!!
