SICK IN THE BIBLE BELT

Douglas, GA

#1 Jan 18, 2013
I have recently had some business dealings with a man I go to church with. I thought from his actions in church and the way the pastor and member treat him that he was seated next to God. Now I know he lies and is very deceptive in his business practices. I am just sick about this. I wish I had never used his services. He oppresses his employees. According the Isaiah the bible says it is a sin to oppress those who work for you....you should treat them fairly and give them what they earn....really earn. I will NEVER use a Christian business again. Then when I get screwed, I will be prepared for it.

Christians do practice what they preach - hypocrites don't.

Welcome to the Bible Belt. How ironic is it that the supposed seat of God is so currupted with racism (white and Black) and unfairness. How strange is it that the place that is so "rich" with God is also the bed of the Nations poverty, obesity, Cancer and curruption?

that's the reason the christian community needs to walk the walk not just talk the talk. Some may not hear you but most certainly see you.

There is a difference between religion and faith. Religion is in front only, faith is through out.

I was so excited when my sister's son went to work for a christian businessman. My nephew really needed a good christian role model in his life. This man made him lie about some stuff that could have landed him in jail. We had a sit down with him and made him quit the job before he went to prison. I was shocked because the man holds a big post in a large local church.
oh come on now

Are Christians expected to be perfect by those who aren't Christian?
YES
Is it possible for Christians to be perfect?
NO
Christians are supposed to be able to do better in their personal &business relationships thanothers since they are FLAWED HUMANS they are imperfect and cannot achieve perfection on any level.
Christians forget people are always watching for a mistake they make. Unlike Christians who are SUPPOSED TO FORGIVE OTHERS, Christians seldom get forgiveess from people who aren't Christians when they do something wrong.
Then the non Christian gets to make remarks about how disappointed they are with a person claiming to be Christian and feel good about calling them a hypocrite and having an excuse for not being Christian themselves and never wanting to attend any church because of all the lying, cheating two faced hypocrites that go there.
Church (the belief in God and Christ Jesus) is for people who need emotional, spritual, and physical help. There are NO PERFECT PEOPLE IN CHURCH!

Bet that'll set a few folks off!:)
