If you don't mind paying 200% interest then go for it. A loan of $2000.00 will probably cost you $200.00 interest payment alone, if you only pay the $200/month you will never pay it off. It would take you 10 months paying $400.00/month to pay it off with a grand total of $4,000.00 in total payments! Run as fast as you can away from them or any title pawn. If you need to borrow money from them get a $500.00 loan and pay it off within 30 days.

might as well borrow from the mafia..... interest would be better if you borrowed from the GAMBINO crime family..... and I know of two of those girls in there, they will gossip about everything to anyone, just like the staff at farmners furniture here in town.... grand central station of pure BS,
U know what

I never had to borrow money from there but have heard how you have to pay Dearly to borrow their money!!! DEARLY!!!
But if you're wanting to just visit the girls who work there that should work out good for you since it will take a LONG time to pay them off.

There are other alternatives to Title Max and the like. Places like Preferred Loan, Personal Loan and Franklin Loan aren't quite the loan sharks that the title loan places are. a lot if states have shut down title loans Just a warning.

Problem is this, those other alternatives don't take credit risks that Titlemax does. If someone uses a title pawn place it's because their credit is shot. Any loan company will turn you down with bad credit. Titlemax is a predatory lender.

I got a loan with Title Max and paid it off a few months later. I will tell you that you need to MAKE sure you KNOW what you are paying. When I went in to pay my PAYMENT they were giving me X total which was just the INTEREST and was not paying anything off on the principal! Thankfully I caught it the 3rd month. I paid it off the 4th month and had no problem telling them that they could have made a lot more money off of me but they seem to be dishonest. Also when I applied for the loan I didn't have one of my references addresses....Guess what they did? "Oh, XXXX XXXX I can just look in her file and get her address"...Uh are they stupid? That is priviledged info that she has a loan with them!!! I made sure and told that person what happened. Lastly, if you have ANY other way to get the money AVOID any title loan. The interest is SOOOO high no matter who you use and if you can't pay it YOU will be WITHOUT the car you paid your hard earned money for.

Went in to a titlemax to get a loan using my wife's truck title and when I told them that I was in the military they told that they won't deal with service men and women. I have yet to see a real company help out the people who give them the freedom to even breath. It is disgusting that company looks down on us because we're in uniform. Cash express as well

Soldier,
It is sad that the men and women who serve our country have to treated this way. However there are recent laws that prevent financial institutions from using the same collection practices with military customers. This makes it undesirable to lend because it can be too difficult to collect in the event of a default. I know most who serve are good people and intend on paying their debts but there are many that have ruined it for the others. By the way, I am not in any way associated with title max but do work with a financial institution.

It sucks you can't borrow money from them...but it also sucks that yall think you are so special..you picked the military for your job you should get no special treatment just the same as everyone else!!

I worked in banking and finance for 12 years and I interviewed for a job with title max recently. The interest rate they can charge you as a pawn is unbelievable. Try to go to a credit union. Try to use a credit card. Third, go to SecurityFinance or someone like that. The last uses the Georgia Industrial Loan Act rates that can go up to 60%. Try not to borrow. If y ou owe the hospital or dentest, just work it out with them and pay them regularly.

Yes you do desrve special treatment for the sacrifice that you have made if in foact you are a member of the armed forces, police department, fire department, or any emergency responder. Freedom isn"t free lady!

No freedom is not free. I just don't think just because someone does their job that they choose (not got drafted into) should they be held above the rest of the people! I am very gratefull for all they do and I am glad they choose their job, but it don't make them any better than me!!
