Has anyone ever experienced horrible customer service at the movies? The general manager is a dush and he doesn't know how to talk to customers or employees. Saturday night I believe it was, I saw him cussing out the lady manager in front of alot of people. Why do they have such a horrible manager up there when Kevin Griffin and Gerald Pryor have so load of money and got a sorry manager up there...???? Also while I'm on that topic why does he show his love for a young man up there in front of customers?? I don't understand this place.... I have never been to a public place and not feel comfortable.... Has anyone else ever experienced this????

I've never seen the manager when I've been up there.
Just blankeyed teens that don't know how to smile.
the two older than teen women I have noticed are not that good at customer service either.
This town is the worst for people that work with the public.
Rarely do you see folks smile and sasy thank you.

I know what you mean. They are rude up there and it sucks to go into a negative environment. It makes you want to walk out and not watch your movie.

I started to post on this same subject last Saturday. My daughter was sold a ticket to a movie that there were no seats available. There were people standing and sitting in the isle. The manager would not refund the money or give her a ticket to another show. I was tempted to call the Fire Marshal. needless to say she probably will not be back.

I haven't been but have dropped kids off. The ladies in the window act like it is a bother for anyone to go in because they have to wait on them. If there was too many people, your daughter shouldv'e been given back her money. They fire marshall should have been called.

i would think in this day and age people would be glad to have a job.. i know lots of people who would glady take their place.. it does pay to complain.. i know people dont want to feel responsible for others losing their job but u are not responsible.. they are..if they value their job they would act more appropiately..

I agree! It sucks to go up there and not feel comfortable. I hate to even go watch a movie because of the negativity.

Get over it people! I don't go to have conversation. I go to watch a movie. How soon you forget what we used to have for a theatre. It seems nice to have first run movies the same year they come out! And the rockin seats are great.
If you don't like it travel to Valdosta or Waycross. It will leave more room for me.....

Are by chance Kevin or Gerald? If I had unsatisfied customers, I would want to know it.

If my child were sold a ticket, there was no seat and the manager would not refund her money, I wouldn't like it either. I imagine when I got thru with Kevin & Gerald they would be ready to give me the place to shut me up!

Its a shame that 2 of our top recreational facilities(Rocking 8 and Fun Place) have these problems. Is the bowling alley place any better?

I went up there and the manager turned off the microphone in the booth. He did not have the moral/social ability to come out and speak to me face to face. His statement was call the toll free #, Their policy was not to refund or replace tickets. He then stated there were seats available , another employee stated there WERE no seats. The managere then stated that I had to call the number . Their policy was not to refund or replace tickets and then the micorphone was turned off. SOOOOOOOO,
If I or my children decide to see a movie We WIll go to Valdosta.

I have never experienced the horrible customer service. The volume of the movies are way TOO loud. I get a head ache when we do go there. I would be upset and they would know it if my child was sold a ticket to a sold out movie. Getting there earlier, Your Mom, doesn't change the fact that tickets to sold out movies shouldn't be sold. If a ticket is sold, it should be for a valid seat.

We shouldn't have to go out of town to a movie. I haven't been to the Rockin 8, but it appears to be very nice. I would call the toll free #, and get in contact with Gerald and Kevin. What about the Better Business Bureau? I don't think I would let it drop. Why were people standing and sitting in the isles if there were empty seats?

Call the main office at the Video warehouse and ask for Victoria--nice lady and will help resolve this problem. Kevin and Gerald both will adress it too if you can contact them, but Victoria would probably be your best bet to reach quick. Jack

Thank you so much for your comment. If the seats are full and there are people sitting in the aisles & standing up, call the Fire Marshall.

There we go again. Because we have a new theatre means we don't need to expect great service.$8.00 a ticket. I expect great service.
