Evergreen Pulp on a roll

The news that Evergreen Pulp Inc. in Samoa has been chosen to acquire and restart a closed-down pulp mill in Aberdeen, Wash., is good news on several levels. via Times-Standard

The opening of this mill will financially help some but for others the smell and periodic dust fall out and ruined shrubs and auto paint jobs are not something to look forward too.

Restarting this mill is the worst enviromental disaster this community doesn't need. This community has absorbed 50 years of exposure to some of the deadliest chemicals known to man. It is time to clean up this super fund site and move on to clean industries, we owe it to the next generations. How can we be so blind and stupid to allow such a liabilty to set up shop again.

If anybody reads Craigs List Rants & Raves, they will see that there was a woman from evergreen pulp mill last week who was promoting her prostitution during lunch breaks.
