Hundreds of New Jobs Coming to Alabama as Commercial Jet Opens Aviation Services Facility in Dothan
Governor Robert Bentley, House Speaker Mike Hubbard and Alabama Department of Commerce Secretary Greg Canfield joined company and community leaders in Dothan Friday to announce that Commercial Jet will invest $12 million to open a new 400,000 square-foot facility at Dothan Regional Airport in Dale County.

Wow, it might actually offset the hundreds of jobs that were lost when Pemco pulled out. Of course that was just one of dozens of places that have folded and tossed their employees out into the cold (Movie Gallery HQ, Sony, Pemco, a car dealership monthly, a restuarant weekly, etc.)
Good news, but don't look at it as actual growth, look at it more as a bandaid or maybe a torniquet to keep the town from dying as quickly.
