A Doraville home has just been sold to a Haitian refugee mother of 12 for $1.00. It was a short sale (very short) of an abandoned home that had been vacant for several years. The bank just wanted to get rid of it. It had been trashed out by the former mexican occupants and suffers some termite damage also.
The new owner, who is unidentified, is said to be happy with her new home in Doraville.

There goes the neighborhood.
What subdivision is that in?

Where is it located? What's the address? Is it in Oakcliff, I hope not. Wonder how it was allowed to deteriorate? Shouldn't city government use code enforcement to clean up messes like this one? Why wasn't the bank held liable for the past few years? What does that mean to values the homes close by?

Was it on Carver Circle? Nice homes over there.
