Subject: Back to the Basics Kansas Senate Opening Prayer

To All,

My apologies in advance if you are offended by this email, but I am burdened to express my thoughts.

When we look back on our heritage, what do we see? We see the struggle to persevere without regard to any and all obstacles. Our nation is on a collision course and we've been elected to turn from this course, to make the hard decisions that challenge us every day without regard to whether the decision is popular. As we meet the challenges before us this weekend and moving forward, I urge each of you to evaluate each ordinance and issue for its value and the total affect it has on our City; respect the person speaking by listening and considering without interruption. Offer solutions, alternatives, and compromises rather than controversy. If we must work together, and we must, then let's do it regardless of personalities, perceptions, and opinions. And, remember the greater cause, to make "Doraville a Great Place to Live, Work, and Play". As Mayor Jenkins says: "Leadership is not Position, but Action"; and I'd like to add "Positive Action" to his motto.

Pam Fleming [email protected]

"My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable Superior Spirit who reveals Himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind." Quoted by Albert Einstein.

"When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is
what they heard:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says,'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it
the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it
welfare..

We have killed our unborn and called it
choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it
justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our
children and called itbuilding self esteem....

We have abused power and called it
politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions
and called it ambition.

We have pollutedthe air with profanity and
pornography and called itfreedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called itenlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!

The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from India , Africa and Korea .

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program,'The Rest of the Story,'and
received a larger response to this program than any
other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation
under God.'

With the Passion to do what is right and the Courage to see it through, I challenge you to consider your values and your integrity for the success of the City of Doraville.

Try family values instead of your lies about others and you just might find out you like them. Better than snake in the grass, back stabbing lies you put out.

PAM does not have the political courage to stand up for anything She is a Fair weather friend like Do nothing Donna. Individual that talk about their religion are weak

Anybody that rides around with Stuart Anderson the The Property Tax Cheater does not keep good company.

She is like do nothing Donna and Lou the Loser. Where can I kiss it.

Wow! Separation of church and state, ever heard of that? That explains Ginny's "lesbian" fixation and the remarks about "queers" taking over city hall. I'm sure Holly was in that mix too. Fine Christians! Actually they are examples of why some people LOSE their religion, hypocrisy is rampant!

As for Pam and her "values", why does she condone "massage" aka human trafficking/sex trade if she is such a christian? Why does she allow downright THUGS to run the city?(slumlords) And Stuart, don't get me started, what a little hypocrit and liar he is! Maybe it's time for them both to get what they deserve, a little investigating and perhaps Stewie should be questioned about some of his little business ventures.

What is going on? What kind of "values" are being pushed at city hall and how does anyone expect city employees to function is such a hostile work environment? Fleming would be fired by my company in a new york minute for harrassing employees. Submit an ORR and find out all the facts.

File an ORR. Find out if the city ever took any kind of action against Fleming in 2010, 2011, 2012. Legal action. Ethics action. Did council Censure? Did council vote No Confidence"? Find out why this is allowed to go on.

File an ORR. Find out if Fleming was investigated for harrassing city employees and if there was an investigation who did it and what was the result.

Hire your own attorney. Do the investigation. Call a public meeting. Go the legal route and let the pieces fall where they may.

You got money to hire a lawyer for this? You see, if you go after Pam Halpern takes care of her legal fees. They like her you know, she likes to let them have their way.

Nope, it's Halpern. The info came straight from a member of the congregation.

Send this to the Ethics Commission. It's their job to handle. Let the Hearing Officer sort it all out. Sick of her public behavior and anybody who doesn't get separation of church and state. Did anybody sue her and the city over this? Should have.
