I have had preminitions for a very long time now that there may be a cave under my house, here are the reasons, my house sits on top a big hill, my yard has sinking spots appearing ever so often, i was told there was a cave under this hill and an old indian burial ground just under the hill down in the woods.I also have thoughts there may be a gold mine in that cave. with treasures like indiana jones would be interested in finding. does anyone out there know how a person could find out if indeed there is a cave under their house.

I can almost certainly guarantee that there is NOT a gold mine under your house. However, if there were a gold deposit under your house you should go to the courthouse and make sure you own the mineral rights on your property. If you don't own the mineral rights than whoever does own those rights are entitled to the FULL benefit of the gold. The indian burial ground is a possibility but I highly doubt there is a cave that was used as a burial ground that doesn't have an opening somewhere near you. Also, if you are on top of a cave that is anywhere near the surface of the ground, it would be likely that with the recent rains we have had your house would have fallen into the cave. You could always hire a well driller to come drill a small hole to see if there is indeed a cave under there somewhere. Best of luck to ya, but I am guessing that you have nothing to worry about.

Yes, I would get in touch with the university of Missouri. I can't wait. I love a mystery !

We dug in from the side, but could not locate a cave. Found lots of fruit jars with gold and silver inside, though. Thanks.

Dexter Car Salesman hunts from a wheelchair. He must have had some of his helpers dig for him. Fruit jars full of coins were left by Jesse James!!! If that is true , lets go dig!!!

Find out who informed you that there were caves, and make sure they are a reliable source. have a background check on your property at hand if you go into any organizations with your problem.

We quit digging because we quit finding anything new. Jesse says he did not put any gold or silver anywhere near that homestead. Must have been other KGC operators, although we can find no signs nearby. There is probably a treasure map somewhere.

say what wrote: dig a hole You can buy 2-inch metal pipes (or smaller) that are used for driving "Sand Points" into the ground for shallow wells. If there is a cave, you will definitely feel the "lack of resistance when your sledge-hammer hits-through into "thin air" (of the cave of course). It will also give you a way to drop a scope down to have a look around before digging your hiney off only to find a fissure to narrow to use.(I've been there, done that).*No bones though. That's bad news and I'd cover the sucker up, and plant a fruit tree "as an apology" ....don't ask.
