Forgive the typo in the title. Diamond Dave will always be my favorite VH lead singer. Sammy Hagar is a better musician on every level and I like him a lot, but the over-the-top showmanship of Roth was a big part of Van Halen's early success.

I agree! Van Halen was my fav band back in the day and I had pin-up's of David Lee all over my room. I like Hagar but he could of done the same on his own IMO. I just wish David Lee Roth would of done better on his own. He can be quit the air head at times. LOL. |
