Well, I haven't been to church since I was little but I will tell you that my daughter goes to the First Church of God on Pine st and their youth group is extraordinary! I know my daughter and her friends absolutley love it there. They take several trips where they go to youth revivals and christian concerts, they have a wonderful church camp in the summer time, and the kids have fund raisers such as church dinners etc to raise money so that the parents won't be out much money for these trips. I think it teaches them responsiblity along with christianity. I think it is really awesome! Go Bro. Greg Mason and thank you and your wife for being so wonderful with the children!

Come to Pilgrims Rest. They have an awesome youth ministry and the pastor is one of the best. They don't sit in judgement of anyone but love everybody. They treat you like you are family. And don't tell you how to dress or act. Come join us.

I go to FCOG too, and I couldn't agree with your more. Greg and Tina are the absolute BEST!
We also have a new pastor. Bro. Larry Earls and his wife Zella. They've only been there a few weeks, but they are great too!

My family and I are currently in between churches. We just recently left Pilgrim's Rest. We loved the church but needed something new when the pastor left. We are now thinking about attending the First Church of God. I have only heard the new pastor one time but I think he is fantastic.

sure it Could be the best church if the peple going there wasnt so stuck up and think they are the only ones who are right and going to heven. and the pastor didnt put up with the sins from the peple goin there and thinkin they are the best peple in doniphan. i go to palace of praise in the bluff. if you want a great blessing visit us there. that pastor dont put up with sin and preaches on it alot. but pray and ask god to show where is best for you.
well, people come to church because they need help, and if the pastor didn't let sinner's in then no one would be there. so i guess the palace of praise has a perfect church? NO because you are going there and obviously you are a sinner because you had to get all bent out of shape and bash a church that is allowing people to GROW closer to God. so does your pastor put up with you and your attitude? I hope so because God still has hope for you

Teresa Sopko is a very special, loving person. She loves Pilgrims Rest. If everyone was like her we'd have a lot less problems in the world for sure.

I to attend First Church of God on Pine Street and have since I was born. I am raising my children there as well. The love it there as do I. The Church offers a wonderful summer camp to these young chilren called Camp Sharon at the Lake of the Ozarks and my children look forward to that every year. The new pastor is wonderful. Anytime a man can give a sermon and when you leave your young children can tell you everything he said and preached upon you know that he has your attention. Larry Earl and his wife Zella are great people and ones that I look forward to growing with in the years to come.

I go to West point and it can be a good church. But I also agree that just some of the people there can be stuck up and think they are better than everyone else. I have been there for 5 years now and I don't agree with some of the things that go on there. But at least the music is good and some of the preaching. The pastor should preach more agaisnt sin but other than that it can be a good church.
Way to stand up for your church!! I can't believe you would get on here and bash your own church. Bro. Chuck preaches what he feels like God wants him to preach, and he is an OUTSTANDING preacher!!! Do you go out of your way to talk and be friendly to the people you think are stuck up?? Maybe they are just shy, have you thought of that?

I would have to diagree about West Point, bro Chuck is an awsome person and preacher. We were going there for a while when a family member of mine died and the church just poured some love on me and my family. They offered any help I needed to get through my hard time and I will forever be grateful to them for that.

the gossip i hear everytime i go and the fornication of one of the bus drivers and the liars who hold position in west point. yeah, it is a good place for sinners who want positions in a church. i have been going to west point for 8 years so i have a right to say what i think is wrong. and some of those who do go there are snobs not only in church but in public as well. bro chuck does preach good messages. it is just too bad some of those going there don't pay attention and live what they speak.
