So? Have they considered placing a speed limit? maybe from Doniphan to Float camp?? That would make sense.. Get above the float camp and go as fast as you want.

It's not all about you, the floaters have the right of way. They don't have a motor or the control that boats do. Yes, sometimes the floaters surprise you and your not expecting anyone to be there. If you see floaters ahead and cannot safely get around them then wait your turn, it's not all about who is bigger or faster, it's about having fun and everyone being safe. That being said, if you bring your children and dogs with you then take care of them! Don't just turn them loose and expect everyone else to deal with them!

If you read the water partol report, there is NOTHING mentioned about him being drunk. I'm going to guess that the people posting all this stuff about him are the same people that pull up to him and act like you are good friends with him. I'm sure none of you have ever been drunk before! I'm sure you're all people that have never even had a speeding ticket! Just because he get's drunk every now and then doesn't mean that he was drunk at the time of the accident. I'm also sure that you're the same people that will stop in and "check on him" when he gets out of the hospital when really you're just looking for some good gossip.

I don't know the details but guarantee that alcohol was involved. I do know who was hurt and if this guy is on the river he's drinking.
Maybe you should consider getting the details before you open your mouth...Guess what he was NOT...again NOT Drunk...don't think an ordered BAC would lie, do you? He wasn't drunk...read the report on the water patrol site...no mention of alcohol, because that is not what caused it...so your guarantee doesn't mean shit...huh?

whether or not the bigboats are a danger to people has already been made... look at all the bank erosion, the big boats put out such tremendous wake that they are causing the river to fill in and become more shallow and therefore more dangerous. Soon there will be no more river to enjoy. Fishing has already been impacted. There are no longer the fish beds for spawning. And if you,ve ever seen CurrentRiver on Monday Morning it looks a muddy as the Mississippi from all the fast boats.

I don't care to share what happened, figure it out on your own, next time your drinking beer outta his cooler patting him on the back parked on his gravel bar, claiming to be his best bud....

"details" and "get your facts straight" may know what happened to this guy. I know him, I wouldn't call him a buddy and no I won't be patting him on the back on his gravel bar or anywhere else. I do know that if this guy was on the river on a Saturday evening that he might not have been drunk-whatever! but I would bet a million that he was drinking. The way it was worded lets get him drunk next time, send our kids out on the river and it PROBABLY wouldn't have happened. Hell, maybe next time he will hurt someone else instead of himself.

Check the report...I said he wasn't drunk...he wasn't...and now a question for you...is he the only one you have ever seen on the river that has drank a beer or two..cause if he is...you must not look at anyone else whether they be in a boat, canoe, or a tube..."The way it was worded lets get him drunk next time, send our kids out on the river and it PROBABLY wouldn't have happened." Sorry you lost me here...what does sending your kids out on the river have to do with any of this? What is funny is people like you who are PISSED OFF that he wasn't drunk! Your pathetic.
