I heard on the news this morning that there was a boat wreck this weekend on the river. Anyone hear any details or see it?

If you look at all the stuff on this river, most of the proplem is from poplar bluff. There should be a 40 horse limit just like up north this would make the river safer for every body!

what news station were you listening to? I listened to KDFN 1500 and heard
nothing about current river, doniphan, or even ripley county.

It will not matter if there is a 40 horse limit or not. Put an out of towner behind the wheel after a several drinks and you got trouble. It won't matter if its 40 hp or 250 hp the results can be tragic!

I heard it yesterday morning on the PB station. Don't know if it was KWOC or 94.5. I flip back and forth. Then yesterday afternoon, I heard it again and they gave the names. Two Poplar Bluff guys. No serious injuries. Didn't say if alcohol was involved or if any citations were issued.

just goes to show that KDFN/KOEA IS NOT
A LOCAL STATION ANYMORE.
