I do not live in Donalsonville, however I do visit

often. I stopped at Mr Pips to purchase Gas and was told that I had to take my Credit Card inside for them to hold while I pumped the gas. That practice is absurd. Why have a credit card to get your gas and go. At any time other than there have I seen this done. I had already swiped my card Did Not get any Gas. Mr Pips charged my Visa card with $31.00. I tried to resolve the issue by calling and stopping by. Unfortunately they did nothing until I reported FRAUD which it was. I WILL NEVER STOP THERE AGAIN.

How would like to pay for something you did not receive? I don't have that money to waste if you have extra send some my way.

I don't have a clue who Dani is? I did speak on the phone with someone who said she was the manager. I did not get her name.

Pretty much everyone here is an idiot,so if you're looking to actually solve a problem, you're SOL. Sorry.

Dani is short for Danielle. Danielle is the owner, she's a very nice girl. I worked for her for years. I'm sure if you would just call and speak directly to her, she would be glad to take the appropriate measures to get this matter resolved. I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding. Most likely what happened was that when you swiped your card it was never cleared out from the system, so when the next person pumped on that pump, it probably autoimatically charged it to your card since it was still active in the card reader. Probably just an honest mistake. If I were you I'd just call and speak to Danielle, I'm sure she'd be happy to help you.

I did speak with someone on the phone .She said she was the owner, I do not know. However I finally filled for fraud and it was imediately taken care of however since it was filled as fraud I have to get a new card and go through all that which I think was bad business on Mr. Pips part of the transation. And I still don't think you should have to go inside to make a charge on your card. I don't let anyone hold my card out of my sight. I'm not that STUPID

My wife works at Mr Pips, and yes Danielle can have her moments, but deep down she's a nice person! She is just going through a lot right now! When me and my wife couldn't pay our rent on numerous occassions, she helped us out and never once mad us pay it back, even tho we offered to!

Danielle is not a nice person she is as crooked as the day is long . watch your gas it might just have water in it. And check with the online websites of gov agencys and notice how many times they have price gouged for gas and had to pay fines you maybe owed money if you have your gas tickets still . They are ordered to pay back customers for this over charge most people dont know about it because it would be hard to find all those folks I think the gov should make them put up a sign saying bring your gas tickets in so we can give you your money back we stole from you!

The issue I have with them is charging you for using your debit card on inside purchases of less than $5. I shouldn't have to spend $5 to use my card since it is the same as cash.

Call your cardholder, that is against their terms with merchants to do that, the credit/debit card company will pull their machines from the store for that practice.

Just to let you know this kinda charge is not legal and you should consult with a lawyer in atl. or albany ga the lawyers around here will not do you any justice also make sure when you search for a lawyer you get you a business lawyer . If you will do some research you will find its not legal for a retailer to collect a charge or to have a limit on how much you must purchase .. Btw I own a business and use credit and debit and I know better my self. The reason she wants to make you get $5 or more is because of the service charges the merchant account holder has to pay for the transaction . sometimes the fees for a single swipe can be as much as $2.50 just depends on the card so here is the issue the business trys to get you to spend more so it will be worth the sale . alot of people want to come in the store and use the card for a $1.29 cent drink and it cost the retailer more to make the sale with the merchant account than the drink cost itself. But still its bad for both the retailer and the customer . However its not legal for her to set an amount.

Past is the future of a business you retard its how business make capital but we understand again you have no freaking clue what you are even talking about . Iam happy you support her she needs it but at the same time right is right and wrong is wrong so dont defend and say that the business being talked about has never did no wrong or does no wrong because you are truely clueless of the facts . Again you can go back into your hole because most people iam sure did not even know that gas stations all around the area are charged fines offten for price gouging but maybe they will know and they can maybe with the gas ticket go and get the money that was stole from them. And btw people it was not just her business it was others also do some research and you find the website hosted by the gov. who has a list of retailers who have been fined and the dates etc.
