It will be another murder that S. Martinez can't prosecute even with stacks of evidence. If she did her job people would know just how dangerous Las Cruces really is.
There are unsolved murders all over this county.
Good ridence Martinez. May you and your Cartels get what they deserve.

I go through that road every evening after work. Yes there are several homeless who hang out at the stop sign and spend a lot of time up on the hill where the body was found. I went into one of the convenience stores in Dona Ana and overheard a DASO Deputy laughing about the crime that had taken place telling the clerk that it was just a homeless man. This sure contradicts the commercial that is being run on the radio about the Sheriff’s Department. Some of these Deputies don’t have a heart and shouldn’t be officers. Some homeless people don’t chose to be homeless it happens with the economy, sure hope this doesn’t happen to the Deputy who thought it was so funny that the homeless person had died.

How does a homeless person get sturdy shoes. I work hard for what I have and my shoes aren't sturdy. I have holes in the soles and cracks in the leather.

..and i was waiting for some dipshit to blame Martinez

You should have gotten the deputy's name and reported him to his boss. He sounds like a complete azzhole and should not be working in law enforcement with an attitude like that.

Dona Ana County Investigators never solve murders, Had it been in the City then the case would be solved. And what's with the lame statement Bo Nevarez gave.."It's Somebody, we just don't know who". OF COURSE IT'S SOMEBODY BO NEVAREZ, at least you got that solved Mr. Investigator!! As for the Deputy at the convienance store and his pathetic and unproffesional comment about the deceased man, SHAME ON YOU! But people know something, all the LAS CRUCES dona ana deputies are protected! The Las Cruces Dona Ana Lt in charge calls his group of guys "THE MACHINE"...HOW IMMATURE! GROW UP CHUCKY (LT). If anybody wants to murder somebody, i'm telling you do it in dona ana county it will never be solved!!!! Lord help that department, God only knows SATAN AND HIS SPAWNS ARE RUNNING THE SHOW!!

Some homeless people live off of pensions of a couple hundred dollars a month. They could buy sturdy shoes with this money. Or someone could have bought them for him as a way to help him get a job. Not every homeless person is absolutely destitute. Some are homeless by choice and others have addictions and other issues that keep them from having a permanent place to call home. HOMELESS DOESN'T EQUAL WORTHLESS!!!

Oh it's not Susanna Martinez and Chuck Franco that were the problem here!! Everybody is mistaken and keep focusing on Martinez and Franco. They hold no candle to the real problem(s)at the Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department. It's the head hancho and his upper management spawns that are the BIG problem. Please don't be mistaken, I know, I lived that nightmare of working there but decided i was'nt going to be a puppet on a string. The Las Cruces LT and Capt lead by FEAR and hide behind their badge otherwise they are nothing without it!!!!!!!!!!i They must have been punked and bullied as little kids. They both have no business being in law enforcement. The citizens of LAS CRUCES and DONA ANA county have NO CLUE!!

Amen to that, NMSP, should be in charge so we can find out what happen to this man. Everyone keeps saying he was homeless, DUH!!!!!! how can he be homeless if he has a home not far from where his body was found, He wasn't homeless, but he did stand at the stop sign asking for money. When the statement of sturdy shoes was mentioned, I don't know exactly what is meant by that but if I re-call correctly he wore boots.
RIP to the victim.

I agree with you 100% although I know a hand full of officers who do wear the uniform proudly and do what they signed up to do. But the rest of the officers give these guys a bad name. The few that were from Deming, like Palos and Childress, they were punks in school and then come to Cruces and get a badge and think they can't be touched. Still punks glad they are out of LCPD.
You got that right

Add Ben Rios and his son to that list. As well as our squeaky clean new Governess. The dirt in the junk yard is very deep and the people involved with the game go all the way to the roundhouse now.

Tommy is clean now but the game still goes on. And our corrupt elected officials have been neck deep in this rat hole for 20 years.
