On Sunday, September 1st, Mayor Domingo Vargas volunteered with Aldermen Tom Hawley and Charissa Bilotto; City Treasurer Carmine Bilotto and others to help Public Works Superintendent Frank Berrini paint over the long-faded mural located on the east side of the Gregory Street Bridge. Thanks for the makeover!

Blue Island Public Works Employees are members of a Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is there work, and should be compensated for this violation of their contract.

Alderperson Billoto, Treasurer Billoto, Superintendent of Public Works Berini are all members of a union. Shame on them for taking bread off the table of city Union employees.

There is time to organize and have the Giant Rat out front for the next Blue Island city council meeting, along with union reps, pickets, horns, drums, the media, and a parade!

We are a poorly managed workforce. We would welcome the work of painting this area, etc. And of all people, Berinni, the consummate crybaby. We need the Rat Patrol in Blue Island.

The rat patrol is for the LAZY UNION WORKERS. They would rather run their mouths than work. How sad.

State Rep Robert Rita is such a Union Supporter? And he permits this Anti Union behavior here in Blue Island? He needs to be booted out of office.

Go on strike so they can fire the rest of you. Then you can collect unemployment and sighn on at the old union hall. Who is it your union is protection against? You do know you are civil servants therefore, we the taxpayers are ultimately your employer. Don't ever forget that it is an honer to serve the citizens, and on top of you get paid

Pictures, reports, facts, evidence, and credible witnesses go a long way.
Members of other Unions (insert names here) engaged and participating are typically; unethical.

you are all dumb idiots. so people can't volunteer anymore. iTs not even a BI bridge, its owned by the state, how would Public Works have an issue with this?

Besides first responders Public sector unions are worth it ! Why do we need overpaid landscapers ? Clerks ? Office workers ? We need to rid our city of these unions ! Been to city hall lately ? Slice of life 7;30 4:00 days way to much wasted on pay ! In the meantime taxes go up services down !

Proud and overtaxed because of public sector unions !
