Lets give some kudos to the Dolton Police Department and the Illinois State Police for catching the fire armed robbers that went into the Fairplay and robbed the place. During the robbery one of the suspect shot at an employee inside the store. Dolton Police and the Illinois State Police were on scene even before the scum left the store. After a short foot pursuit all five offenders were taken into custody entering a home in the area. Multiple handguns were recovered from the offenders and an ounce of cocaine was found inside the house. Lets give these officers some good publicity for doing a great job and taking five scumbags off the streets of Dolton.

according to the news reported by CBS, it was the state police who just happened to be in the area. no mention of dolton police - interesting.

I don't recall seeing a Fairplay at 114th Street and Indiana Avenue. and even if their is, Is that considered Dolton?

They must mean Fairway at 144th and Indiana Ave.

First of all there were only three robbery suspect.
Before the attemped robbery, there were two young men (cousins) at that store when they noticed the robbery suspects with black mask and hoodies on going into the store. They tried to leave the store when the robbers grabbed one for a hostage and took him back in. The other young man had access to a gun so he went back in the store to save his cousin. When he entered, he saw the suspects and told them to put there guns down. They didn't put there weapons down so he opened fire on the suspects. The hostage got away. The suspects and the cousin were shooting at each other, then the two cousins ran out of the store with the robbers following behind shooting at the cousins. That's when they were met by the state police. All and all the suspects were not from Dolton. They were from Calumet City and there is still one at large. They young man from Dolton is the one that desires the praise because he stop the suspects in the middle of they're act. On top of that look at the live saved too. If HE wasn't there, the suspects probably wouldn't have gotten caught and it might have been mass murders inside that store. Avery's the good guy.

All of this news is so sad. When you look behind the crime into the lives of the people that are affected by this insanity.

They say that Crazy is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

Lets Pray for our community.

Yes we have to pray everyday for Dolton. We need leadership that care about us. We also need the judges at court to do the right thing and put the people who are shooting, killing and robbing away instead of letting them out the next day.

You sound like someone who doesn't get out much. Of course it sounds like BS. That's what happens out there in the streets. It's sad, but it happens. I know for a fact thats what happened because I was there. The State police wasn't there when it went down, Dolton police wasn't, and YOU (JUST CURIOUS) definitely wasn't there.

Let you be in the middle of something like that and see if you have time to call for help. Avery had all the help he needed and he did save at lease a half of dozen lives. The people of FairWay will testify to that.

AJ will be home in 10-15 years......if he is lucky.. Although he might be walking a little funny after Bubba gets ahold of him...Don't drop the soap...Hopefully AJ is smart enough not to wear saggy pants in jail..
