Why has it taken his party until election time to commit. Most of them are already in office??
Diminishing an entire community in such a manner is very disturbing.

Let me just interject this: a single alderman can do very little to get the bridges open. It will take the whole Council and new administration to get this done. I also live in the 2nd ward and I have these same questions but I know it will take more than one person no matter the plans of anyone.
She's single? Hope I'm invited to the next pool party!

I'm not the one who Diminished the community, the politicians who WE elected over the last 25years have diminished Blue Island! Look around...when I tell people at work I live in Blue Island, they say isn't that a bad neighborhood!!! That's the impression that people have of Blue Island...very sad!!!

Hell I'm still waiting for my answer to Mark Potaska about his alliance with Tommy Brown and Alln Stevo about his hit list of Municipal workers and the Police Department and the law suits he had Blue Island go through. How about it guys?

I, with heavy heart, but nevertheless with high hope and peace, believe Blue Island is worth fighting for. If we want change, we have to unite to effect that change. I do pray however, voters are, not by any means, swayed by fancy photo shoots, by the clever but ironic, empty proclamations of professionalism and promises posted on social media to finally solve the problems Vargas and company themselves caused or ignored all these years. Please do not vote by race alone but rather vote your conscience, your heart or vote for reason and change.

Glad you asked your questions and directed them to the 2nd ward candidate. But, she has to ask Daddy first as to what say, if anything at all, so it's probable you'll be waiting a long time.

Wait a minute, not only Daddy but Bobby too. You must remember they are in MUTE mode right now.Gag Order is still in effect. They'll talk after the election. And just like the Yellow Pages, Let the ads do the talking(as in glossy humongous post cards and faux postings on social media)

Charissa,
I would like to know what your plans are for reopening the bridges? I am on the fence about who to vote for and since I've had a long discussion with your opponent and he outlined his plans for me, I would like to hear yours. I guess you could say I am a bit hesitant about voting for you because you father Carmine has been an Alderman in our Ward, City Treasurer and he knew well before any of the residents did about the conditions of the bridges and failed to act responsibly on behalf of the residents he represented. You are his daughter and I have a hard time believing that anything will change...as they say, blood is thicker than water...
Please let myself and the other voters know your plans.
Thank you
What is the progress report of getting a bridge open?

You forgot to also blame VARGAS, who has been in city office for over 20 years WITH the people you name, and for how many of those years was he Mayor Pro Tem??? People like to blame the Peloquin administration for everything, but seem to forget Vargas was there the whole time! He's NOT blame free. He did nothing helpful then, and he's only helping himself now. USELESS to taxpayers, only useful to Rita.
