Blue Island alderman dies in Lake Michigan

Here are the arrangements for Alderman Janko's wake and funeral.

The wake will be Tuesday night, July 23rd, from 3 pm to 9 pm at Krueger Funeral Home. They are located at 13050 Greenwood Ave.

The Funeral will be Wednesday morning at 10 am at St. Walter's Catholic Church. St. Walter's Address is 11722 S. Oakley in Chicago.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Janko family during this time

Where is the luncheon being held?
Who is paying all the city employee's wages while they attend the services and procession with city vehicles . Why were there no special services for other's in the past
