Perhaps because we're concerned with the people in power in this town because in the end, they are the ones that can do something about the gang issue you're talking about.

I for one didn't have anything to contribute to that topic. It asked if you knew anything about it, and I didn't. So that's why I didn't post there. Does that clear things up for you?

it does make it easier to apply for unemployment, and collect but the village can fight all the way to court downtown.

as far as him posting in the church paper - if he does not have income showing and does not make over half his unemployment he can still collect

Ann-Marie you clearly did not read my post, and you clearly are a racist pig.

Taking care of gang problems starts with the people in power. Police being one portion but not the only.

And as I stated, the original topic asked if anyone knew about a particular gang fight. Since I did not, I saw no reason to stick my nose in that topic.

Winterpeaches you're right, but let's be realistic....He's been doing private work while he's been on the village payroll so they could fight him for that. Plus he's clearly still got clients. I doubt he's eligible for unemployment, but if he tried I'd hope the staff would fight it.

Ann your post isn't really adding anything to the topic. Do you have any information on McGrath to add? Or any other village employees? I'm sure there is more out there than we all know.

Oh how I love to spar with people like you Ann-Marie. I get a kick out of your ridiculous posts. Thanks for the early morning laugh. It was a late night of running around trying to keep my pants up while I was trying to get my welfare check back from my baby mama!

He should not get unemployment unless he intends to quit practicing altogether. And I am not concerned about his future. More about can we get a decent replacement that is not related to any current village management. And not have to pay this person more than 110k.

Should eliminate the "Legal Department" immediately and go back to a contracted attorney like before. Also should be nowhere near $110K....fyi, the Village of Posen pays the attorney as a private contractor $60K a year billed monthly for $5K, which covers almost all legal work.

Does seem that which was our old system was better before. That was before mediocre work was rewarded. I agree I really wonder if we paid near the amount he cost us currently with benefits including insurance before he got his newly remodeled office suite in the village hall? I am thinking no.
