Gas companies to drill land near Dolores refuge

Companies on Thursday leased the right to drill for natural gas near a wildlife refuge named in honor of biologist Jim Olterman, who died in 2002 while stocking fish in alpine lakes from his airplane. via Durango Herald

That's messed up. Mr. Olterman is most likely rolling in his grave. 'Nuff said.
