...and the water infrastructure underground- the web of pipes that the water travels through to get to you- is most likely in need of repair. If you are unlucky enough to be a homeowner with bad pipes, it will be YOUR problem and your wallet that fixes it. Otherwise your meter will be constantly running due to leaks and you will be paying high water bills every month until you pay to fix it. Ask people in Little Falls what they pay for their water.
The home owner would be responsible only what passes through the meter which would be in your house or cellar. you pay only what you use! Pool owners shouls pay MORE!

This is a topix from months back that really should be considered. People that use more water should pay more. Like people with pools.

Who are you? What basis for such foolish talk. You must have some spiteful, jealous reasonings in your head cause there is no reason why anyone should want to have their water metered.

So shut up, or at least name ONE good reason why it should be metered. Let's here it? please give a legitimate reason, not just an "I think" , dopehead

Its called paying your fair share. It cost the village money to pump water to all that use it. there is a cost to maintain the water lines, pumps, demand upgrades, chemical balance of the water and personal. Its not free. If you use more gas in your car do you pay more. If you use more natural gas at your house do you pay more? If you use more of any utility at your house you pay more. What makes you think it should be any differant for the water. There is a cost invloved and you should pay for what you use. Think about it. Its not rocket Science.

the village does not pump water to anyone, gravity does the work for free hence no cost to maintain pumps. when have they ever maintained the lines other than fixing a break? if a metering system is placed your bill will double! it will not be lower i promise you that. this water billing system is not broke dont fix it.

not true naive one. we pay for a lot more than we use, a lot more than what we ought to, and for many a lot more than we can even comfortably afford no matter what it is. gas, oil, clothes, cars, tires, phone, tv, electricity. and you are such an azz as to suggest that we should have something done that will surely be more of an expense every month for villagers. do you really live in dolgeville and Pay for your water? if you do, and if you have half a brain, you would shut your mouth and appreciate this one nice service that we all receive; cause there are not really too many others. you must be a child or a moron. there ought to be a special license for people like you to post on the inernet. what a buffoon! WHO the h3LL are you? you need to be put out of your freakin misery!

Just to let you know O own a pool and feel if I use more I should pay more. Why should people pay the same that use less. You can spin it anyway you want. but in the end you should pay for what you use. Your fair share! Sorry if this upsets you.

BS! so that must mean that you do not live in the village and you have to pay for a water truck to deliver water to fill up YOUR pool? Now that's your problem isn't it? not the residents of dolgeville. i guess that villagers have some perks that those outside do not have and vice versa. So why are you even interested in what dolgeville residents pay for water? move into the village, buy a house and a pool and fill up the dam* thing for "free". there's no law that says you can't. You chose to live where you do; you have no one to blame but yourself.
so where is this pool of yours anyway? we'd all love to come for a swim this summer

ok. where are these pumps?
I'll bet you can't even say where the source is.
or if and where its treated.
or if its treated with flouride.
see, you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
and I'm gonna guess that YOU don't even get village water where you live anyway.
but whatever water you're drinking is killing off whatever brain cells you got left in that pee brain of yours
