School locked down after report of gun on campus

A Dolan Springs elementary school was locked down Tuesday after authorities responded to reports of a gunman on campus.

I cant believe there is type of person out there that would potentially put a childs life in danger. Why bring a gun into a school? Shows you what the world is coming to! Thank goodness we have some decent people left!

Last yr the school was going to get security guards. what ever happen to that?

We now have a sherrif substation at the school. But all the security in the world won't stop a crazy person from doing crazy stuff!

This is such a quiet community, one wouldn't think we would need security like they have in big cities. The rumors around town say that he wasn't hurt, just pushed down. He really must have made a parent REAL mad for them to go in looking for him.

Druggies and drunks don't need excuses to go bonkers, and if you live in Dolan you know there are plenty of them here, and they seem to care more about their intake of illegal substances then they do their own children. How are his kids going to feel when he goes to jail?

Who is going to fight illegally for his kids when he goes to jail Lena? Schools have a chain of command for complaints. First talk to the teacher, if that doesn't work go to the principal, next would be the school board, and then the superintendant. This idiot is why we need tighter gun control.
