I am moved to express appreciation to 12 classmates that gathered at Arthur's on October 3, 2009 to share experiences since our graduation in 1959. Bob Bauer and Elizabeth Woldt spearheaded this event finally locating me in Yorkville, NY after the many years. I was also pleased to meet another of our classmates at the Spring Green Community Church on Sunday. It was a great moment to be recognized by classmates who had not seen me in the last 50 years. I tip my hat to the persistent ones who brought together this worthy event.
Locating the residence of my High School years was certainly a surprise as it had been torn down & replaced by a home 4 times the size. The farm a mile away in Wilson Creek was another moment that closed a last chapter on my days among you.
I am currently a licensed clinical social worker awaiting return to my first love, that is, full time ministry in the Christian church. My wife & I served most recently in an Undenominational church for 14 years just to mention one.
We are honored to have spent but a few hours on familiar land - what most of us would call 'roots'.
