I was just wanting to know where our police force has been. It's been several months since I've seen a police car anywhere near my street. Every once in a while I will see Travis or Rayford on SH 19 but during the days I have not seen our Chief or Sgt. Parks at all. Do they still work here? And if not who replaced them?

It is the new way, All law enforcemnt in this county is doing nothing! But no one seems to care either, go figure. At least you noticed it and cared enough to ask why!

1. Crime Stoppers did not pay for the drug dog, they gave money to help with the cost of the dog.

2. The dog has been used several times that I Know of and drugs were found.

3. Just because you don't see something on the front page of the new's paper, does not mean things are not being done.

4. Lakeside, if you are not 100% sure on what you are saying then why don't you just keep you mouth shut until you know the facts. Until you can do that, you are just like all the other people that talk before they think.

To all the men and women of this county that put there life's on the line every day. I THANK YOU!and the people of TRINITY COUNTY THANK YOU!

I agree, but everybody who goes out into the world put their life on the line, most people don't carry weapons like cops and crooks, those are the people i worry about the most good people.

Lakeside I thought we were going to work on our positive attitude. People that complain cause they do not see the police on their street are very intelligent people. Are you seriously that ignorant Gerrrald, if you see the police all the time on your street, that means crime in your neighborhood is up. If you just feel safer seeing an officer on your street higher a security guard on your own dime. Heck I will do it for you if that will let you sleep better at night. Where you see the police, that is where the crime is at. Tell you a secret about cops, they like to find criminals, so if you do not see them all the time then you have not much to worry about. I am sure they do drive by your street during the night while you are dreaming about the your social security check being lost in the mail. Cause if you are not retired you would be at work during the day and not looking out your window watching the traffic that drives by. Unless you are disabled or just lazy and don't work or the small possibility you work from home. So are you retired or do you just not see the police the short time you are awake between getting off work and falling asleep. Thank you T.P.D. and T.C.S.O. for all you do for your community.

Look her BUD! I don't know where you get off trying to attack me when all I was doing is asking a simple question. Just because some people try and take that as an invite to open up other comments does not give you the right to attack me. You were obviously looking for a fight and decided this was your opportunity. And no, crime is not bad on my street but there is a lot of speeding cars that I would like to see stopped. And before you say something stupid like "DUH Why don't you call in and complain DUHHHH", I have and had no response that I could tell. I also understand that sometimes when I call in the police are out doing more pressing things. Never once have I complained, I was just wanting to know. So maybe next time you will think before opening your stupid, fat, idiotic mouth you sorry excuse for a person. People like you are the reason this site has turned into an argue session instead of a source for information. I hope you read this and say "Wow! this person is really mad", because yes, I am. You have no right to pass judgement on someone you do not know. I hope you have a fantastic day.

And another thing, yes I am retired. When you get an education, you have that luxury. Maybe you should try it. And what I do at my house, looking out the window, is my business, not yours.

First of all, I do not work for you, and second of all, If you do not like what I say, don't read it!! Gerrrald is right when he says idiots like you have turned this site into one big arguement, instead of a place where people can actually get information on things that are going on! Things I might add that you will never read in our local newspaper, because some other idiot controls what they say, just like you are trying to do on this site!!
All of the things you say about police is stuff you see on TV, because in the real world of police, crime is everywhere, even in your part of the world!! So to say something as stupid as if you don't see the police it is because there is no crime there, what a retard!

Gerrrrald do you think posting on here where is TPD will get the speeders stopped on your street. Your use of words "stupid, fat, idiotic mouth" tells me that your are not a stand up guy, sounds like something a 12 year old would say. So you agree crime is not bad on your street, your just like every other elderly person that hates people driving fast. I have a question for you why is it that the older people drive 55 mph in a 70 mph speed limit zone but in a 55 mph zone ya'll drive 45 mph, I am at a loss there. You just go about getting your problem solved the wrong way. And why did you get so mad bud, was it when I called you ignorant or how I figured out you were retired cause that was not hard, dogs bark, young kids drive fast, old people drive slow and complain about kids driving fast, just a couple facts of life.

And Lakeside I never said that crime is not everywhere. I said crime is not up. You are the type of person that if I say quit acting stupid, you will say I called you stupid. The word acting is in there for a reason. Gerrrrald cannot get any accurate information on this site, all I am trying to do is to defend the police that protect my family.

THS student you act as if the whole police department is at the school. You are the one Gerrrral is probably talking about driving fast.

Wow you like to attack everybody. I guess your parents must have kicked you out too soon. Or maybe the problem was with your parents. If somethings wrong with the bitch then something will be wrong with the pup. And yes I do like to drive under the speed limit and when I do I tend to make it to my destination about the same time as the young punk kids. One day when you grow up you'll understand. I'm not mad at you though. You probably got picked on a lot in school, if your even out of school yet.

I have a question about our PD. Why is it that when I finish my shift at work and am driving thru Trinity at 2 or 3 in the morning I see them in the parking lot of Brookshires? Not only are they there but are surrounded by teens in their cars. I have even seen these kids with open containers. Is that not contributing to bad behavior by the officers not doing anything but encouraging it. Should they not be out patroling instead of "partying" and "loitering"? Just a question.

I have stopped to put gas a few times and clearly have noticed that some of these people are drinking
beer. I know what a bud looks like. Drive by on a Friday or Saturday night after mdnight and see what you notice.
