I live in Kentucky and visited Mt. Airy along with some friends about two years ago. We enjoyed your town and the people very much. We were very shocked and sorry to hear about the shooting there. It just goes to show that bad things can happen just about anywhere these days and no place can be considered safe. God Bless You All!

This is a sweet little town . Any time I go to any given store in this town there are always people smiling , greeting me , telling me how cute my kids are . I feel comfortable raising my children here because of the low crime rate .

However , not even the friendliest of towns can keep young individuals from making bad decisions or deciding to take the wrong paths , such as the young man that got lost in his rage and shot the other four young men .

No matter what their race was they were young men with their whole lives ahead of them . My sympathies to all FIVE of the young mens families .

Just from reading her posts I can tell you that you are speaking to a female ! It's quite obvious , her name is Sandra , and she is the "suegra" of one of the guys that were killed !How do you get that she's a he ?

I do not know who this lady is , but if she is who I think she is , she's also very beautiful , far from being any mule !

If only people would read the new testament of the Bible and TRY REALLY TRY to be like Jesus toward others. If this was done, we would virtually have no problems in our country which was founded on Christianity. MY hope is that the victims and their friends and family members are saved and therefore heaven bound. As Christians we are only passing through on our journey to eternity. Hopefully the victims are spending eternity in heaven waiting there to greet loved ones when they crossover. After my father died unexpectedly, I found a great source of comfort in listening to JOYFM 91.3- this radio station also gives hope and joy.

Why would an 'inmigrant' in the U.S. legally not file a
