This is a BAD idea and Stop & Shop will NOT get what they want there. Their greedy, sweaty palms, will not buy that village. They should just up and leave! They are doing poorly, and cannot survive in a village this small.
They won't do well here and plans to build a larger store will fail, since many people have insite as to how the board will vote. They are better off leaving, selling the property to the village so the village can do what it needs to do. Sometimes big corporations get turned down and in this case they need to put their tails between their legs and bow out gracefully. How many times can they hear "Its too big" and not do a thing about it?
Plus they are brazen enough to think the village will give them a street?
They are wack!

Stop & Shop should try opening up their proposal in a place thats more fitting...along a highway or in a larger parcel. This is unrealistic. I feel sorry for Dobbs Ferry residents if the various administrations pass this trhough...only money can change the minds of the righteous!

I know...Ive lived in brnx for 15 years and drive to dobbs ferry for peace and tranquility.
Putting a big o' Stop & Shop there is a sick-ass idea. I hope their Mayor isn't getting paid, ya know?
I doubt it, but if Stop & Shop builds there, some shady-ass shit is going on? Ya know Im sayin?

Would this mean the prices will be going up even more?$1.50 each for a grapefruit is cool, but $1.55 each would be crazy.
