WHERE: Freedom Park, Dixon, Illinois
(Freedom Park is the small area where the "Wings of Peace" sculpture is located and the replica of the "Berlin Wall" - just north of the Old Courthouse lawn, on the corner of Galena Ave. & 2nd Street in Dixon, IL)

Bring your signs, your opinions, and your freedoms as we celebrate our Constitution, protest against an out of control government (both at the State and Federal Government), and show that WE the PEOPLE are ready to take back our country. We will schedule speeches and welcome people to share their grievances with our government. If anyone has musical talent we welcome you to bring your instruments. We felt freedom park with the remnants of the Berlin Wall and appropriate setting to raise our voices against the growing oppression by our government.

Forgot to tell everyone regarding the Dixon Tea Party on Sept. 12, that you should wear red, white & blue clothes, if you can.

Our leaders are out of control and I feel they are using the Health Care Reform as a SMOKE SCREEN.
The foreclouser rate is at 32% per CNN, which tells me that we need JOBS first.
Without the jobs, who is going to be able to afford the health care they are trying to shove down our throats.

Ethan Hastert, the son of former U.S. House Speaker Hastert is having a Town Hall Forum to discuss the health care on Thursday, August 26th in Dixon at the Loveland Community Center, 513 W. 2nd Street, from 4:30PM - 6:30PM.

The Sauk Valley Tea Party rally will start off at Freedom Park at 12 noon (where the "Wings of Peace" sculpture is), across from the Old Courthouse this Saturday Sept. 12th.

From there, there will be a short short 2 block march to the final destination at the Amphitheater on the river behind the new Reagan statue.

I would encourage everyone to wear patriotic clothes, make a sign to carry, or carry a flag.

Here's the schedule for Saturday:

12:00pm - Meet at Freedom Park in Dixon
12:01pm - Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem
12:05pm - 10 minute march to final destination
12:15pm - Speeches / Entertainment
1:30pm - Open Forum
2:30om - Agreement on Values Platform
2:45pm - Volunteers discussion
3:00pm - Commencement
