I lived in sterling for a long time and found the police a toatl joke. My friend got busted one night because they thought a weight pin was a pot pipe, took them to the trial to figure out there were no holes in it Duh!!!! Cops and judges both are criminals. Ive seen cops come to some "friends" house and warn them of pending drug busts days before task force would come in, for a price of course. we had jusges that did coke admitted to it and are back on the stand WTF!!! if you got the money in that town and a little clout you will be fine, you know like Spencer!!

Why didn't they just tell us he has been battling addiction for years. That could have saved alot of time and useless court appearances. I will call over to the county and tell them that he is an addict that has been struggling for years. They will let him right out. Boy do we feel stupid. He was and addict all this time and they still kept him in jail for killing those people? Have you told the police this information about him struggling with his addiction? Maybe call Jerry Mitchell and explain all of this addicted to drug stuff to him. I am sure he will do what he can. Wait lets have a "Free Sheley Rally". You should Love your dad but its not fair what he did to those people no matter if he was on drugs or drunk when he did that.He's lucky the police didn't shot him.I use to go the church your dad went to at one time.
He should pay for what he did.If it was your family you would feel the same way.

Secondly yes I did move away due to no good paying jobs and lack of career choices, thats why I am where I am making double what your backwards butt will ever plus I have a college education a real one not from Sauk. First off Billy Bob is a name I use so I can try to relate to people from Sterling that move away and try to hide their inbread roots. I see you all over any post that has to do with anything from around here. You come on here and talk about how bad it was in Sterling/Dixon when you were here and how much better it is in Nevada. And how your education has lifted you into the stratosphere of elite jobs out there in Nevada. I to have vacationed and lived all over the world but moved back here to be close to family. See I'm not worried about status. My job here is good for the area. You make double what I do in Nevada. Well that's really good. You make 150 to 200 grand a year then. I bet alot more then that. Your community out there is real nice. I have been there before. I use to go to Vegas alot. I think they are in the same county, Clark. Let me be the first to tell everyone from Lee and Whiteside county that none of us can hold a candle to Old Time. His community in Nevade is leaps and bounds better then anything any of us have ever dreamed. It's all new houses and subdivisions that just popped up in the desert and are fully functional. Old time must have money because back when I was there the homes were 200,000 and up. Alot were in the millions. Anyways old time your right I was just picking a fight. Just messing with you. I am guilty of acting better then everyone here also because I grew up in Cincinnati and just came to Sterling to visit and I would tell tales of lands beyond Sterling. With real malls and sports stadiums. Places with no corn fields and tractors. People would listen to my tales amazed and in disbelief. Thanks for checking in on us here in Illinois. The jobless rate is over 10% and everyone is trying hard to survive. But again thanks for checking in on us. Don't worry your still doing better then most of the people you knew when you were here. The cops here do suck. They probably went to Sauk.

If Nicholas Sheley is your Dad, IMO it's not wrong for you to love him. You love the guy that you think you knew. Support him if you need to, but, I hope I read correctly that you don't approve of what he has done. Addiction is NOT an excuse for killing EIGHT innocent people including a two year old child.
There is a real possibility that your Dad is not the person you thought he was....think about it.

I have been attending all of the hearings in Galesburg for the murder case of Ronald Randall and Aggravated Battery case related to the jail incident and blogging about them. I try to give as detailed and objective of a report as possible. This might be a good way to follow your dad's case.

Holly gets to cool her heels for the next couple years herself....recently sentenced to 4 years for burglary.She was convicted of breaking into a van and stealing the stereo. Nice huh! During a bond hearing the SA for Whiteside asked her why would her DNA be in Ronald Randall's truck....her reply...."I take the fifth amendment". Hmmmm
